Publisher's summary

Fall in love with billionaire Fordham Sharpe and sassy businesswoman Ellery Sinclair in this all-new wrong-place-at-the-right time forced-proximity office romance by New York Times best-selling author K. Bromberg.

One stormy night.

One hotel bar full of stranded travelers.

One available chair next to a charming, mysterious, and sexy-as-hell man.

There was something about him and our conversation that made me feel alive. That made me feel heard. That sparked a fire within me.

When our paths crossed again, I never expected the stranger to be Fordham Sharpe, one-third of the sinfully rich and ridiculously successful Sharpe International Network brothers. Nor did I expect we’d become partners—50-50—in a hotel transformation that dreams were made of.

My dreams, anyway.

To him, I was off-limits. He was my venture partner, and we knew better than to mix business with pleasure. But we had one thing in common—we were both hiding. From our pasts. From unresolved family conflicts. From what really mattered—our hearts.

But as each day passed, our mutual attraction became harder to resist.

We agreed to the partnership to prove our worth to our families, but perhaps we’d only prove our need for something else. Each other.

Are you ready to fall for the Sharpe brothers in K. Bromberg's sexy contemporary billionaire romance series? These books can all be listened to as stand-alones but can be enjoyed as a series as well....

Best of the trilogy- Ford finds fulfillment

Fordham, the sensitive peace keeping triplet, is at loose ends and over reacting to the way his father’s biographer has depicted his relationship with his father. In fairness it was very insensitive of the writer or editor who appear to be more interested in the more colorful behavior of his brothers. While Ford is soul searching and pouting he gets stranded in a rundown in where he meets Ellery (rhymes with celery) who he is immediately attracted to. Ellery works for her extended family’s construction business. Both see great potential in the in and end up working on the remodel while working out long unresolved family issues. Ellery is more over dramatic and still dealing with unresolved issues due to grief and both have expectations for understanding without putting themselves out there to fully communicate. Their story is sweet and sexy and they both eventually learn to trust themselves and each other- though Ellery does take longer and her character provides more annoyance and frustration than sympathy. Ford or “Just Ford” is supportive and gets over the hurt feelings faster even after surviving something very serious. A book boyfriend! Great narration and well worth the credit.

Dissappointed

Ellery is the huge disappointment in this story. Yes, every one has to deal with grief but Ellery has taken it to a wholly unhealthy level. She uses her grief as the block to everyone and it doesn't make any sense to a normal minded person. Ford is the only redeeming character in this book. He is strong, honest, considerate, vulnerable, sexy and gorgeous and this is what a hero character should be. Ford carried this whole book and that's not enough to make this a great read.

WHAT AN AMAZING FINAL STORY!

Ford and Ellery were perfection together. The journey to their HEA was sweet, hot, funny at times. I listened to this audio book at work which was a mistake because I had to fight the tears a few times. It was so beautifully written. And don't even get me started on the last chapter!!! This book definitely deserves more than the 5 measly stars allowed.

A fun and feely romance with some nice spice.

Oh Fordham the University, you big softie. I totally fell for you! What an awesome story to round off the Sharpe triplets’ romances. Ford and Ellery are both looking to make their mark out of the shadows of their families. A chance meeting and the talk of potential brings them back together.

I love how Kristy wrote such a supportive, positive male lead in Ford. He was literally Ellery’s biggest cheerleader. He just knew what she needed and gave it to her, whether that was space to work something out herself, room for her to lead, confidence in her decision making. He just let her shine! It was refreshing to see the guy just knowing what the woman needed without just coming in and doing it all for her.

But of course Ford has his own hangups to deal with and between them they are masters at internalising all of their feelings. Even after they both realise they are head-over-heels in love with each other Ellery continues to pull away.

Rose was amazing as “Celery Ellery”, she gave us all of her sides and showed us her inner turmoil. Jason was the moody at the start, and big softie at the end, “Fordham the University”. A great pairing for another fantastic audio experience.

This series has been a fun one with each of the triplets being completely different and unique in their own way. There is laughter, feels and spice in them all, and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series.

Definitely not Just Ford

K Bromberg definitely saved the best brother for the final story in this series. I thought Frod and Ellery were perfect together. I laughed and cried. The brothers had a bond that nothing could break. This was a perfect book to me. The narration by Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke was wonderful.

Wow, what a beautiful story and PERFECT narration!

All the feels in this one, with characters, relationships, plot, and descriptions that were so real I could see everything in my mind's eye. The narration ...if I could give it more than five stars, I would. The inflection, the tone-- you can hear every emotion in every sentence, whether it was just regular conversation, a joke or, mot especially, the intensely emotional parts. Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke are pure perfection.

Triple five stars!

Forced Proximity

3.5 stars. This book started well! I loved how strong Ellery came off and how brody Ford was when they first met. They form a business partnership, gain each other's respect, and catch feelings. However, their past keeps interfering with the present!

Ellery understandably has a fear of abandonment after losing her parents. Ford has unresolved feelings when his father's book is released, and not much is mentioned about him compared to his two brothers. It takes almost losing each other for them to admit their love. Ellery’s character development went downhill as the story progressed, but the narrators were good.
