MIL-Hash Reticle and Picatinny Rails
A MIL-hash reticle on the first focal plane lets you range targets as well as make proper wind and drop calls. For versatile use, this spotting scope also features multiple picatinny rails for mounting accessories like red dots and rangefinders.
Rainguard HD for a Clear View in Wet Weather
Bushnell’s patented permanent water-repellent coating causes rain, snow, and sleet to bead up tightly and scatter less light, delivering you a clear image even in wet conditions.

First day at the range was shooting at progressively further distances and was clicking turrets (later I found I was using the wrong number of clicks) then lost my shots when I went to 830 yards. I had a spotter use this scope to find my shot.... pulled the trigger, spotter immediately said, "Four mills low, one mill right".... I pulled held high and left to 4:1 on my scope's FFP MIL-DOT reticle, and hit the steel squarely the next shot... BOOM baby! that's what we're taking about.
Also, with the three (THREE!) I was able to take an old, cheap red-dot sight that wasn't doing well with recoil (cheap) and mount it to the side giving me a VERY fast way to align the scope on distant targets with almost NO effort.. put the dot on the target at 800 yards, look through, make very fine adjustments and the scope is zeroed for a spotter.
The scope comes with a very nice case too, though I want to leave the red-dot on the scope so the case doesn't work for me. I grabbed on old-school aluminum camera case (these have been replaced functionally with Pelican type cases which you can get a cheap copy of at Harbor Freight.. nothing wrong with those either) and can have the scope fully protected with the red-dot on it. I'm able to put my range-finder in there, my book and pen for notes and other misc. stuff you need for a great day on the range.
You won't be disappointed. Best value out there for those of us that want to do a rich-mans sport (long distance shooting) without the fat wallet...
We are returning both units. Materials seem to be of good quality but manufacturing and QC on this batch are completely missing, maybe in other batches build quality will be better.

I am pleased with the performance, and I recommend this spotting scope for Bench [or Field] Shooting.
