It’s the best of both worlds. Never having experienced both sides of the coin myself…but if it were anything like this then I would probably love it. This was better than the first book. I enjoy that these stories don’t drag on forever to get to the end. I think they’re a perfect little foray into fantasy with a lot of heat and heart to go with it. Can’t wait to keep reading.

One thing I did not realize until reading this story that FFM seems to mean the 2 females are the main characters. The romance aspect centered around those 2 characters, and the General came off as an afterthought which I did not really enjoy. I would have loved to see some "feelings" that involved him.

Read this in one go. Found it to be a decent read. I was keen to see how the story would play out. It feels like this could have been a longer book with more development on certain parts of the story and the characters. Kristabella's character arc confused me and that's one bit I would have liked to see develop more. But that aside, this book is heavy on the steam and drama and I was here for it. Overall I would say I enjoyed this book.

Omg such a spicy book!!! Lyra has her eye set on General Thorne but he is betrothed to Lady Kristabella. Lyra and her mother comes up with a plan for her to get the general but she ends up becoming friends with Kristabella, well more than friends. Kristabella moves Lyra into her room where their relationship blossoms, even though she is supposed to be marrying the General. Kristabella tells her that she doesn't want to marry him and she wants to be with Lyra but she really can't. Then one night Kristabella "easily" persuades Lyra to be with both her and the General. That scene was HOT!!!

Anyways... Kristabella founds out what Lyra's plans were and kicks her out. Then Lyra founds out that her mother was plotting other things and her mother actually killed her father because she was in love with Kristabella's father (so much drama). Lyra exposes her mother in front of everyone, Kristabella takes her back and both her and the General makes Lyra their lover, even after they marry. That was HOT too!!!.

I was sold by the cover but the story kept me captivated. It had just enough moving parts to never be boring but not overwhelming. When the main characters got hot and heavy just be ready with something to cool you off. There were some aspects that I feel could benefit form the story being longer but I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a spicy, angst read.

It was a good FF/M book. I say FF/M because it's more FF, with the M being there as part of a marriage arrangement.

I wish it was longer - it definitely had an intriguing plot.
