This story was telling of true love with some trials and trepidation. Excellent and very creative. Suspenseful and dramatic. I enjoyed these two books and so will you. A must just read.

I’m a little confused about the timeline between this and the first story. At times I thought each different story should chronologically be first. Anyway, this is an excellent tale and I loved Cassie and Catherine, as well as this series.

This was an action-packed follow-up to Legacy of Light. First of all, I have to say how impressed I am with the amount of research and thought Ms. Round had to put in to this book, its world, and its events. There is so much detail given to the settings (some of which are unusual if you're participating in a challenge) and the characters. Cassie was familiar from Legacy of Light but everyone else was new, including the situation in which she finds herself. There are a few surprises, too. When I started reading, I wasn’t sure where it was going because Catherine was a new character, and I don’t recall her Family being mentioned in the first novel. Fortunately, that didn’t last long. I was rooting for both women. I can’t wait for the next book!
