About this ebook

One small town, two divorced doctors, and navigating dating as a single dad. Dr. Lucas Kade wasn’t expecting his friend to become a lover...

Moving back to my small hometown to set up my medical practice feels like starting over. I’m slowly putting the mess of my divorce behind me. Not to mention figuring out how to juggle being a single dad. But when I accidentally nearly kill my parents’ dog, the dog isn’t the only one with a whole new dilemma, because I come face to face with the woman I once kissed during my hormonal teenage years.

It just so happens that veterinarian Dr. Abby Call is also riding the post-divorce train. What started off years ago as a teenage crush could easily become something much less innocent between two newly single adults. Now we just need to find out if we’re nothing more than each other’s rebounds or if this is our second chance at something real.Throw in my four-year-old son, my meddling mother, and an overprotective Labrador, and our budding romance is only about to get more complicated…

Ridiculously wholesome—well, except for a giant dose of steam—Different with You is the first complete standalone romance from the Sage Creek series. Readers who love small-town, single-dad, and friends-to-lovers romance may just fall for Lucas and Abby! This story is a slow burn, low on angst, and a feel-good romance ideal for your beach-read list.

Author's Note: This is the 2nd edition which includes previously exclusive bonus material and small reworks of scenes. The story remains unchanged.

This book had me at single dad and then throw in Abby is a veterinarian you have me sold. Plus I love books set in a small town. This book is a make you feel good story. Abby and Lucas both have moved back to their hometown to make a new start on life. They finally get the chance they wanted back when. Lucas' little boy is so adorable. He's a scene stealer for sure. This book brought the feels, but it also had a good amount humor in it. I mean with meddling parents especially Lucas' mom you know you are in for some laughs. I'm intrigued by Abby's best friend Jess. I hope we get her story because it sounds like a good one to come.

Lucas and Abby grew up together and had a teenage kiss but their lives went in different directions. Both are back in their home towns and divorced. He has always been attracted to Abby but never acted on it because of their family ties. This time around Lucas has a child while Abby has a dog! Will they combine to become a family unit and will it lead to a happily ever after the second time around for them? This story will have you in their corner cheering them on to finding happiness.
