About this ebook

How did I end up dating my off-limits next door neighbour? It all began with a dare.

In hindsight, I should have figured out that Kat Donnelly’s secret crush on me rivaled my own. But in my defense, she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met, with a kind heart and smart mind to match.

Which naturally makes her way out of my league.

She’s got dreams and ambitions bigger than a small-town police officer could ever offer, and all I have is a lifetime of being not-good-enough.

Then there are her four older brothers who’ve made it clear to me and every other first responder in Dogwood Cove that she is off limits.

But when Kat’s best friend dares her to ask me out, I can’t resist the only person to see beneath the surface to the secrets I’ve tried to hide?

The problem is, with small towns and big families, nothing stays a secret for long.

Dare To Kiss You is perfect for fans of steamy small town romance centered around a big family who love to get in each other’s business. It has plenty of swoon, plenty of spice, light hearted banter, quirky small town vibes, low angst and a guaranteed HEA. It is a standalone, and the first full length novel in the Donnellys of  Dogwood Cove series.

This was my first read by Julia Jarrett and I loved it. Kat and Hunter were wonderful characters and their story was told with great sensitivity and compassion. Their connection and chemistry was undeniable, and I equally loved the tender moments as well as the scorchingly steamy ones. A really thoughtful and delightful read.

Dare To Kiss You is the first book of The Donnolys Of Dogwood Cove —a brand new small-town, friends-to-lovers series by Julia Jarrett. What I liked the most about this book was how realistic it was. Kat, who went through some painful things in previous relationships, as well as Hunter, who battled with crippling anxiety and dyslexia, were so relatable. I loved the family aspect, and their dynamic is hilarious. How Kat's brothers acted was familiar to how my brothers reacted to the boyfriends I took home. I also enjoyed reconnecting with some characters from previous Julia Jarrett books. And I love being back in Dogwood Cove, it is one of my favorite small towns. It's no secret I love Julia Jarrett's writing style, it's so easy to read, and how she described Hunter's anxiety was spot on. Dare To Kiss is a story about lovable people with real-life issues. It made me tear up, but it also warmed my heart and made me laugh. WHY READ DARE TO KISS YOU? - Neighbors to lovers - Hot cop with mental health issues - Meddling older brothers - Some steam - Realistic - Set in one of the best small towns of Romancelandia I received an ARC from the author but am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

I dare you to get your hands and hearts on this little gem by Julia Jarrett. Small town, angsty, sweet, sexy romance. I am so in love with Hunter, the swoonworthy cop who suffers from severe anxiety and doesnt know his true worth. Then you get Kat who is such a strong character and who helps Hunter overcome his fears. They were so good together. This is a great start to the new series from Dogwood Cove and I cannot wait to read more of the Donnelly's.
