I enjoyed this book and thought it was another solid entry for this suspensive series. This well written read had me on the edge of my seat as the gripping and twisting story unfolded. I like Kate and Simon as single characters and am intrigued by the promising relationship brewing between. I have to say though that I found myself kind of annoyed with Kate in this go-round. She's beginning to skirt a line that in my opinion doesn't put her in a flattering light and if that doesn't change, I'm not sure how I'm going to feel going forward. This is my frank, freely posted review.

A little darker than some of the others as far as details, but great world building and it really makes you fully invested in the story. As with the rest of the series love the dynamic between the 2 main characters - the juxtaposition with the paranormal and non belief but building romantic relationship inspite of the contradiction... and how they still work together to solve the crimes. Love it. All of it.

Detective Kate Morgan is fitting in better in her new position at work. She is understanding Simon and his newly developing gift a bit more. I found the subject matter somewhat gruesome but the story line remains fast and the characters and their interaction are what have kept me turning the pages. As book #4 of a series, it is coming along quite nicely. I'm looking forward to the next story!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
