    My son bought Glue Dots to put up his whiteboard in his new room to write his daily objectives.The whiteboard weighs less than two pounds, and given the Glue Dots description, you would think there wouldn't have been a problem.The first time he used the Glut Dots, he cut four squares and applied one to each corner of the whiteboard, but after about 30 minutes, it fell down.Because it was his first time using this product, he thought maybe he didn't use enough, so he covered about 80% of the entire border with the Glue Dots and added pressure every few minutes to ensure it was stable.The Glue Dots held up for about 10 hours before it fell in the middle of the night, ultimately damaging the bottom border.The only reason he bought the Glue Dots Repositionable instead of the Advanced Strength was the possibility of the paint being damaged when the whiteboard needed to be removed.Regrettably, we're not able to recommend the Glue Dots as he'd hope it would work without a hench, but it didn't take.

These sheets are not made of the super-thin plastic like the dots; it is a nice weight, good enough to remove your stickie if you want.     With a name like 'Glue Dots', I assumed I was a buying a sheet of circular glue pieces. These are glue sheets with nothing cut. If you need glue circles, which is what I needed, this isn't what you are looking for. When I attempted to cut these into small glue squares, the backing was almost impossible to peel away. Most of what I purchased ended up in the trash.

    The backing is impossible to release so that the sheets are unusable unless you use the entire sheet. I have need for rounded pieces larger than the standard dot. Unfortunately, once you cut it the sheet to size it is impossible to get the backing to release. I tried both sides to see if one released more easily than the other, however in both cases the adhesive came off of the surface before the backing would release.

    I have a wifi tracker that attaches to my sunglasses. The original glue it came with didn't last long. These small glue sheets arrived in good shape. These are not dots. You just cut the sheet to fit your item. I did not have the problem others are mentioning about the paper backing. I just made sure I pressed the first side well to the item and it peeled off with little effort. The tacky glue seems to be holding my tracker onto my plastic glasses very well. I'm guessing I'll need to replace the glue strip in a couple of months, but that's expected. The sheets in the package will last me forever, so it was a great value.
