Love, love, love Netta's writing and this series she has co-written with Marcus gets better with each book.

Yes, there are gruesome murders but the authors don't linger on the details too much. The twists and turns left me wide-eyed at times.

Great characters, DI Monroe is really growing on me now. The authors are skilful of sprinkling touches of humour here and there. A fantastic balance.

Highly recommended, looking forward to the next installment.

The smashing DI Dylan Monroe returns looking for a savage killer who works during the full moon. The second book in the series continues with psychological problems, situations that are hard Not to laugh at, and Dylan still feeling the effects from his partner's betrayal in the last case. The murders are horrible to look at, twisting even the toughest cop's guts, and while there is one suspect on the police officers mind, DI Dylan feels slightly different. I had my eyes wide open and gripped my book tightly as I traveled with Dylan on this case, thinking one way and then another. And as if his work life isn't tough enough, Dylan is having problems in his personal life too!
I can't wait for the next in this intriguing series, and I enjoy that the authors let every character be themselves, no matter what others may think of them. Enjoyable reading as you travel through every emotion, connecting easily with the characters and watching the amazing scenes unfold before you.

What a fabulous follow up to Avaline Saddlebags. I Am LunaTIC is just as amazing. DI Dylan Monroe picks right up where the last story ended to find himself engrossed in a new case that takes him on a gruesome path to find the truth. And once again the unseen twists and turns threw me off several times. Yep I was sure I knew how it would end and boy was I wrong. I love when a story drags you in and keeps you there until the very end and this one did absolutely that. If you love a story that will keep you guessing mixed with a bit of humor, this is definitely for you. I whole heartedly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next one.

I really loved book 1 but to my surprise this book was even better. Well I don't know why that surprised me usually writers do get better the more they write. I suppose I just didn't think anything could be better than book 1 which was also really funny, I guess I didn't expect them to be able to do it again especially in the humour. This book was so so so so good! It was sooooooooo clever! You really won't be able to work it out or guess the twist in the end. Because at the end it really did seem to be so well wrapped up, everything was so neatly explained....... and then bam! And then it WASN'T what we all thought. But I won't say any more or it will turn into a spoiler. As I was saying it was soooooooo clever. So many twists, unexpected developments. At first it will seem like it's so easy to solve and to resolve the case and then, well, it isn't. There are so many unexpected turns everywhere. If you like to read books that are really twisty and that you just can't guess what is really happening or going to happen next, that take you by surprise all the time because you think you have it all figured out, and then you don't. Then read this one. You won't be bored. You'll be on edge. I couldn't stop reading it, it was so intriguing and suspenseful. Just wish they wrote faster so they can put out book 3 like, tomorrow, maybe. That's perhaps the worst thing about this book, that there WILL be a book 3 but you'll have to wait for it!

This duo has become a favourite of mine especially after reading Aveline Saddlebags and when I found out there was another in this series I was so excited.  The characters just draw you in

With this book for you to pick up on some of the nuances you must first read book 1 Aveline Saddlebags or you will not understand the stresses that these police are under or any of the conflicts that they are dealing with internally.

Very freaky book and so warped which is right up my alley.  I love the LunaTIC or how he is portrayed so disturbed and you can see mental health issues all over him.

The characters of Dylan is amazing love the way be is strong and does things the way he wants.  I love that while he doesn't advertise that he does Drag he still enjoys it and wants to have fun.

Roy is another one that makes me laugh as he feels like the typical stereotype of the drag queen but is so funny.

Simon is a very confused teen and what teen wouldn't be when he has health issues and what seems like mental health issues as well.  Teens are very much linked to their hormones and it can easily turn violent if they are out under the wrong circumstances.

Finishing this book I was sad as it was such an amazing book and I really didn't want it to end.  So much of this book was not just about the investigation but also about the people in the book and their personal lives.  That is what for me makes a great story great plot and great characters this had both.

I Am LunaTic, left me gasping from the twists and turns I never saw coming.

I rarely read thrillers but am so glad I've found this series and was given the opportunity to read book 2 before it was released to the public. Netta Newbound and Marcus Brown have changed my reading pattern and stretched my boundaries. As a co-write, their writing flows seamlessly.

With an original storyline and believable characters, this book could be taken from real-life crime reports.

DI Dylan Monroe takes us through his investigation into the gruesome murders that have occurred recently. Although the crimes are hideous, the writing does not go into the gory details, giving us just enough of the description to allow our imagination to fill in the gaps.

I love how there is always some cleverly placed humor thrown in while the characters banter and reveal a bit about their lives. It works perfectly, keeping the storyline real while also giving the reader a break from the murders.

The attention to the smallest details that will give you that "ah-ha" moment at the end are littered throughout the story.

It's my opinion that these can be read as standalone, however, reading in order will give you more information and make the book that much more enjoyable.

I highly recommend you pick up this series.

Marcus and Netta have absolutely blown me away with their Co writing in book 2 of the DI Dylan Monroe Investigates series!!! I absolutely loved book 1 but book 2 had my head spinning with the
suspense and mystery surrounding the Full Moon murders. Do not assume to predict the outcome as this very twisted story will have you reeling with possible scenarios....it's soooo good!!! As always Marcus and Netta have also mixed humour into this story making it more real and taking the edge of those bits that are hard to read. I thought I absolutely loved book 1 and it would be hard to top that book, but I was so wrong.... Marcus and Netta absolutely nailed this Mystery/Thriller making it a favourite read of mine for 2021 and one of my all time favourite stories to have read.
5 STARS and so much more for this Book..........

Once again I'm blown away by these two talented authors! A fabulous  psychological thriller with twists and turns you didn't see coming. You will second guess yourself as to who the serial killer is. You feel the characters emotions with their personal relationships and the betrayal. Also, there is a good dose of humour among friends.
Even though these books can be read as a standalone I recommend starting with the first book Avaline Saddlebags! You will not regret it!
Can't wait for next installment Troll Under The Bridge #3!!

Absolutely Brilliant!!

Despite having to take a break from reading because I had a nightmare after reading the first chapter (LOL), the story was fantastic. I knew it would be, but it superseded my high expectations! The twists were a shock and at one point I actually heard myself say "What?!?!" out loud.
The fabulous Roy is as sharp as ever and the Drag Queen names continue to make me laugh out loud!
I loved the epilogue too....quite chilling!
Can't wait for book 3!

Wow! What a book. Absolutely loved it. Serial murderer with gruesome scenes, so many twists and turns. Very different but very good, not many books can make you laugh out loud and cry the next minute, so looking forward to book 3.

This book is the second in the series and I would recommend reading book one first.

I found this book to be rather gruesome but it was still a great read.

I loved the friendship between DI Dylan Monroe and Roy, it brought some much needed lighthearted moments that had me laughing out loud. I didn’t like Steve’s character, I didn’t like his jealous streak and found myself to be put off by him.

This is a well written book that leads you up different paths to ensure you don’t have it sussed when you think you do!
