I love these! They are very sturdy and they cook very evenly and heat up quick. They are not the highest quality of pans so if you’re looking for top of the line this might not be it, but if you’re just cooking at home and want to cut down on chemicals (from non stick pans) they’re just fine. They’re pretty scratch resistant and can easily be cleaned with some barkeepers friend. The shine is restored very easily and they look and work excellently.

I've been using these for a couple months now and absolutely love them. They look nice and are hefty. You can tell they'll last for years. The lids are nice as well, you just have to make sure you use a towel or something when lifting them up as the handles get hot. This is my first set of stainless pots and pans and I have realized that it takes longer to heat up, but they hold their heat more consistently and for longer than your regular non stick or ceramic pans. Follow the directions: don't cook on high with them - but I have NOT had any issues with burning or sticking food, and they rinse off surprisingly easy with hot water before going in the dishwasher. I've used them in both the oven and on cooktop and am really happy with them.

People are too unaccustomed to non-stick style pans. When you choose stainless steel cookware you will need to learn how to cook and clean using stainless steel cookware. If you are an old dog who has trouble learning new tricks stainless steel is not for you.

These work great with my gas stove. YMMV. I am used to Anolon non-stick costing 2x+ more than this yet for the price this Cuisinart stainless steel set is pretty nice. I took advantage of the sale on this set which includes the steamer. Cuisinart is discontinuing the steamer piece and is selling off the new old stock. The same set absent the steamer is being sold at a close price. I will never use the steamer but I saved a few dollars getting the set with it and the this set came with clear see-through lids instead of metal.

Pros: Beautiful finish, comfortable and balanced long handles on the frying pans, even heat distribution (using gas), easy cleaning, also I like the vibe of chrome and stainless steel cookware on the stove instead of the dark gunmetal of Anolon. I was a huge fan of Anolon for years. ALL non-stick eventually wears out and sticks and you have to replace them. Now I prefer stainless steel. I read how to cook using stainless steel and so far I have have near perfect results of no sticking.

Cons: The handles and the glass of the lids get hot and stay hot for a longer time than I expected and am used to. There is more play to slide around and they don't feel as well made compared to the 2x+ $ Anolon, again at half the cost of the Anolon I am just mentioning it not complaining.

Tip: I read that to clean off stuck on food pour white vinegar and some water in the pan and bring it to a boil. IT WORKS! The first time using the frying pan I fried potatoes and there was some food that easily came off when I boiled water and vinegar in the pan. For actual "stains" use Bar Keepers Friend and a non-scratch cleaning pad after the vinegar treatment. They return to new-like condition.
