This is definitely worth the read! I jumped in without having read the first book, not sure if this would be closed door, but it was steamy. There were a few typos but the story was good enough it didn't distract. If you are debating whether to pick it up, do it! The personalities translate onto the page and I really appreciate that talent it takes to really execute different POVs. The MMC is a bit of an arrogant gigolo (at first) so if that's a big turnoff, this might not be a good fit. The story probably won't rock your world and have you ruined for all other books or contemplating the meaning of life, but there is action, romance, character growth, and a HEA, and it's well-written. 4.5 ⭐!

Charmed by the Elf is a well written love story in a medieval setting. I loved how the author developed the relationship between the main characters, Dariana and Tylden. Through their actions, you the reader knew when they fell in love, even before they acknowledged it themselves. The plot held your attention throughout the book. I recommend this very enjoyable book.

So, this book was a very nice surprise! The cover is an unfortunate choice imo and the blurb definitely doesn’t do it justice, but I was in the mood for elves and it was currently free, so I chanced a “look inside” and was drawn in by the characters and the prose.
I really liked Dariana and how she unapologetically makes a stand for what she needs. Tylden comes across as completely self absorbed to start and although supposedly brilliant, seems somewhat simpleminded at times. But, he also takes such care with Dariana and is completely devoted to her, and soon treasures her above all else. The beauty of their emotions had me reading through tears on more than one occasion! This was a fun, sarcastic, imaginative story with excellent worldbuilding and interesting characters. I’m absolutely going to have to go back and read Ambree and Farron’s book now!
