About this ebook

No matter how hard Scarlett tried to be good—

She always ended up being bad.

But everything was different now. She was working as a publicist for the San Francisco Gold. Her life was back on track.

Then she met Kaydon.

She worked for his team, and she couldn’t risk her job by jumping into a relationship that could easily get her fired. Even if it was with a man like Kaydon.

Unfortunately, and despite her best intentions at keeping her distance, he was good—very good—at convincing her to be bad.

4.5 Stars for Cycled ( Gold Hockey #13) This is one of those books that will draw you in, it’s entertaining but it’s also emotional and Kaydon and Scarlett’s (Scar) journey is a great addition to this wonderful series. Scar’s life hasn’t been easy, she suffers from self esteem issues but she seems to have found her niche working in the PR department for the team. She normally runs whenever anyone gets to close but Kaydon is not going to let the woman he calls kitten run this time. Kaydon it’s the man we would all love in our corner, he is kind, caring and an all round sweetheart. He has his sights set on Scar and he will do whatever is needed to show this woman her truth worth. The chemistry is sizzling, the banter is witty, the emotion hit me when I least it expected it but it was watching Scar come into her own with the help of Kaydon that took this book to another level. If you loves sports romances, Cycled and the Gold Hockey Series should certainly be on your radar. Looking forward to more from the wonderful players from the Gold team.

4.5 Star review of Cycled (Gold Hockey #13) by Elise Faber Cycled is an emotional story that reeled me in and kept me invested from the first to the last chapter. This is Kaydon Lewis (Kitten) and Scarlett Andrews (Scar)’s story and was a great addition to the series. Scar is the publicist for the San Francisco Gold hockey team and Kaydon has been intrigued by her from the moment he met her. She has had a hard life and thanks to verbally abusive parents has low self esteem. It seems to her that no matter how hard she tries, things never turn out right for her. I fell hard and fast for Kaydon, he is such a protective, caring man and I loved how determined he was to pursue Scar. I also appreciated how supportive of her quirky characteristics he is and that he will stop at nothing to make her happy. Their banter was witty and the chemistry between them intense. I loved Kaydon’s family and the relationship Scar and her brother Charlie have was heart warming. There were moments where I laughed and moments where I cried but I was left with a smile on my face when I finished.
