they are very comfortable. and fit well. I bought them originally for sun cancer protection.. They work to perfection saving me trips to the dermatologist to have ugly spots on my hands removed. the added bonus is that I have hand arthritis and these gloves grip the car wheel making driving painless. the best driving gloves.I have bought sun protection items from this company for many years and I can guarantee that their products last. excellent company

When I was looking for a set of sun-protective gloves, I had narrowed it down to these and the Solbari ones. I'm glad I went with these. I have a sensitivity to the sun and therefore need to take extra precautions when out and about. The Gannet gloves from Coolibar have offered an ideal fit and level of protection. I've used them for about a year now for driving, hiking, and bike riding. They have held up really well. Some of the reviews I had read mentioned stitiching problems, but the pair I got have been quite resilient. They're so comfortable you forget you're wearing them. I thought the Cooltect technology was just a gimmick but it actually works; even in the hot sun you feel a cooling effect from the gloves.

The only thing that I would recommend improving on would be the silver touch-compatible tips that wear out rather quickly, and the silicone grips on the palm that start to come loose after some time. Not deal-breakers, I would still replace the pair I own with the same brand.

As or the sizing, some reviewers mention these running small, others them running large. I went with the sizing on the Coolibar website and settled on a Medium. For reference, I'm a male with 8 1/4 in circumference around the palm, and 7 1/2 in from wrist to tip of middle finger.

Time to bring gloves back into style

After reading an essay speculating whether gloves would come back into fashion as they had before the 1960s, we went looking for something to wear in summer months. We’ve been pleased with Coolibar’s hats and shirts for UV protection and these gloves didn’t let us down. They’re cool, comfortable and lightweight. These versatile gloves are not designed for heavy work or gardening, but they are excellent for general wear and the index and thumb fingertips work on touch screens.
They are NOT designed for personal protective equipment or medical uses, but they do prevent the wearer from unthinkingly touching surfaces and the face. They’re easily machine washable, or we simply wash our hands with the gloves on, rinse them, and hang them up to dry. We got long white models and shorter tan and gray ones and have been happy wearing them when we do go out in public.

These gloves are 100% worth it and I would also highly recommend their other headgear (i.e. women's Abacos fishing mask and Alverstone UV sun mask). These are quality products and provide excellent protection against harmful UV-A rays.

I would love to give 5 stars but I can’t. The quality was very disappointing for how expensive these gloves are. First time I wore them seams popped in 2 places. The material is good quality and I love how thin and comfy they are. The grips on the palms are great too. I LOVE everything else about them. I just wish the construction was as awesome as everything else. I can sew so I easily fix the seams but for the price they’re charging they really need to have better quality construction.

Fit well and prevent my hands from being baked in the sun. I was struggling a lot driving long distances, often taking turns with each hand to maneuver the steering coz the burning would hurt, finally I got this product reluctantly, I wasn’t really expecting it to be this nice. But I’m surprised; Not only does it fit very well. It is also very thoughtfully designed with a nice grip on the inner surface so that you don’t lose any traction with the steering. The fabric is amazing and breathable, Using your cell phones and scrolling or typing works nicely too. I’m not too sure how long they will last but for now they do the job very well and keep my hands cool.
