I have a Conair 1875 dryer (pictured on the box of this diffuser). While the nose of the dryer is within the dimensions it supposedly fits, the nose will not go into the diffuser far enough to hold on. Even placing the diffuser on the floor and my full body weight pushing down, it would not insert. Another reviewer said to unscrew the diffuser, remove the white silicone band on the inside, and then insert the dryer. After finding a miniature Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the three tiny screws holding on the finger part of the diffuser and prying off the silicone band, I found that the nose still didn't fit. Since the diffuser would be going in the trash if I couldn't get it on, I threw caution to the wind and gave it all my strength and all my weight, but it still didn't go on. Good luck with yours--obviously it fits some, but not my Conair 1875 dryer.

I have a Conair 1875 hair dryer and the diffuser attachment fits really well. Since it is a universal attachment, you have to make sure it's pushed fully onto the barrel of the hair dryer or it may fall off, but if it's attached properly it stays on well. I've only used it once so far and it will probably work better on longer hair as it made mine a bit frizzy (I have shoulder length type 2 waves with some type 3 bits) but the fingers really help for volume and the cup is a good size for pretty much any length as far as I can tell. It can take a little time to learn how to use it but I liked it, especially for the price. The attachment doesn't get too hot and you can touch it while the dryer is running with no issue.
