This is a great four book Christmas collection. The author brings four couples each with their own story to tell and delivers page turning short reads that had me hooked from start to finish. She moves the stories quickly and smoothly with perfectly painted scenes. Loved each story and would recommend this book.

I really loved this story. Tilly and Alex are best friends who are always there for each other, ready to accommodate any favor asked for. Tilly made what seemed like a harmless mistake when she told her grandmother she was engaged. She had no idea her grandmother would decide to visit in person at Christmas, wanting to meet her new fiancé.
The only way to rectify this problem was for Tilly to ask Alex, her best friend, to be her fake fiancé. He readily agrees. It sounded so simple, and he knew Tilly better than anyone else. He could do this easily. What neither of them had counted on, however, was how important they were to each other, and how easily real feelings would start to emerge as they pretended to be in love. Was it still pretend? Or was it too late now to pretend it wasn’t real?

A Christmas wish Collection
A good Romance is when you finished a book or a story & the images of the storyline keep playing in your head. Isn't It interesting how love plays out like grief, meaning that there are various stages that people deal with when either realising their own feelings or yearning to have someone confess their dying true love. I believe that we all need a good dose of Romance in our lives, whether we single or married, everyone can whitness what & how love should and could be If people give in to their real feelings.
Alex & Tilly's story made me laugh. I thought It was very funny when she said, I'm not a cupcake nor a pumkin. That was quite amusing to me! I didn't realise how many fake romance books have been written until I started delving into the Romance category. I am glad that I saw Kathleen Ryder in the list of authors which I then subscribed to her mailing list. Saying this, I think a lot of people form fake relationships because deep down there is already a root that is growing & forming. It always starts with friendship and that is a very good, as well as, important part of a healthy relationship. I was glad when Tilly decided to be honest with her Grandmother. Of course If you pretend to be engaged, that would evoke suspicion If you claimed that It in fact is now not a ruse but real. This story leaves you feeling warm inside. I think when you think about a relationship, wanting always is these days very hard to come by but yet when people do stay together for always, Its beautiful and special. Tilly and Alex's love made me want to keep hoping that true love is always possible, beauty and true friendship is very necessary in order to make a relationship work but at also, Its important to tell your mate that you love them all the time! I also observed that in this story, work is just as important to Tilly & Alex as was pleasure and spending time with each other. That balance is very important. When realising their true feelings, they didn't abandon their work to hide or run away from their true feelings, but yet they did what they were supposed to do which indicates responsibility, maturity and loyalty. Loyalty not just to their job and to their patients, but to each other.
Luca and Cassandra's story was lovely. At first you start the story where you see a very unhappy & concerned Luca. I am realising that I actually love medical romances. I find them very interesting & the romance between doctors & nurses is a great combination, that people can be compatible not only in a business sense, but also have something in common to take a relationship further in other ways through their jobs. My heart went out to both Luca and Cassandra. I can't imagine how It must feel If you have amnesia and you know you have a past but you can't put all the puzzle pieces together. I am glad that Luca had the sense to understand that he misjudged the whole situation and was willing to make It right even If there would be a risk that she wouldn't gain her memory back. Both couples had a secret that they had to reveal to each other but praise God for the friendship and love that they had that rekindled the budding love that they had before their seperation. Love most certainly conquers all and when you love somebody through thick and thin, errors, accidents and history can be overcome through It all.
Kyle & Holly's love story whitnesses mistakes that were made but also lessons that were learnt through proper communication & compremises too. The saying: you only start appreciating something till you lose It is very true and this story shows that. Holly had to show Kyle in a real way that If his work was more important to him then anything else, then his decision would push her away. She loved him enough to give him that respect and was willing to walk away. Kyle, through losing her, had to realise that love was not only about work and bringing home a pay cheque, It was about being willing to make yourself available in between your work schedules and being the man that Holly could depend on. Once he owned his mistakes, things started to change for him and improve. Both of them had to admit that they didn't communicate with each other as they should of and were prepared to make changes in themselves for the other in order to be happy. I think both of them having the desire to have a family also made them realise how important life was and children can really be a blessing when you want to become parents. This story was very sweet & kids make a story even sweeter when you whitness how they react to things like Christmas and the spirit of everything that goes with ItBy Kyle working so hard and being alone, he had to learn to become more down to earth, relaxed and willing to admit when he needed to slow down. Holly, realising the importance of his work, wanted him to be the best surgeon that he always was but through him working on Joey made her realise why she loved him as much as she did. When Kyle realised that there was hope for them, he became more the gentle, loving person that he was when they first fell in love.
All people have faults, we all are broken vessels, we all make mistakes but I believe that we have to do some self-reflection & soulsearching to realise where things may have gone wrong and everyone has to make that decision to work not only on themselves, but to also work at giving their marriage or relationship another chance. There was a reason why each couple fell in love in the first place, and each person has to remember why they loved that person at the beginning. These stories tell tales about all of these things. No matter how dark or broken a relationship gets to, If both couples decide to rekindle the marriage no matter what or to fix what was broken, there is always a chance. Everything can be fixed with time but It takes dedication, commitment and lots of effort on both people's parts. Thank you Kathleen Ryder for such a wonderful Romance collection of beautiful stories that made me smile, laugh and gave me thorough enjoyment.I definitely recommend this collection of stories to anyone who loves Romance, who loves to love and people who are just looking for a reason to find beauty and blessings in the small things, in true friendships.

This Christmas Collection includes four books. Book One is The Flying Doctors Christmas Wish and it is Alex and Tilly's story. Book Two is The Cynical Doctor's Christmas Wish and it is Cassandra and Luca's story. Book Three is The Brooding Doctor's Christmas Wish and it is Kyle and Holly's story. Book Four is A Christmas Hope and it is Jack and Louise's story. The characters and storyline of each book pulled you in right from the start and I couldn't put it down as each one was a real page turner that you have to keep reading to see what would happen next. Kathleen Ryder is a brilliant author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this box set and you will definitely not be disappointed.

This Christmas Wish Collection brought a smile to my face. It was full of love and the great feelings the magic of the Christmas Season brings with it. There were a few mistakes in spelling, but overall lovely. Yea for Christmas Magic!!

This is a set of stories that can be read in one day. I loved the romance in each story and the wonderful characters. This is the first time I’ve read this author and I’ll definitely be reading more of her books. I received a complimentary copy of this book from BookSirens and this is my voluntary and honest review.

I received this as an arc for my honest review
This was an okay collection of short stories, but I wasn’t wowed by them. The first story I really liked but the other three were just so so. But they were all well written and easily read in a short amount of time.

I absolutely loved all 4 Christmas love stories. Each couple had a special bond, wish or obstacle to overcome. The fast pace in which the stories were written were great and made for a fun read.

I love the short quick stories! I enjoyed the cute town of Alice Springs and the hospital, that most of the stories took place in. It is great for a light read.

The kind of book I would reread just because I liked the endings so much. My favorite was A Christmas Hope, yes, I cried!

The stories were cute and sweet but became predictable and repetitive for me unfortunately
