What's Included

  • Cellink NEO Extended Battery
  • Charge Transfer Connecting Cable
  • 2x Velcro Strips

Cables Explained

Input Cables for Installation

Cellink Hardwire Kit:
Allows the Cellink NEO Battery Pack to charge at a higher rate of 9 Amps, so it’s able to charge the battery in 45 minutes to full

Cellink 12V Power Cable:
Easier for install, but it charges the dash camera with lower current of 5 Amps, extending the charging time to 1 hour and 20 minutes

Output Cables for Installation

Charge Transfer Connecting Cable:
This cable allows the Cellink NEO Extended Battery Pack to connect to another unit, be it a main battery unit and/or another Extended Battery Pack. This will allow the units to link up and transfer charge to one another.

Female 12V Cigarette Socket Output:
This should be used for BlackVue dash cams and other cameras that switch into parking mode using the G-sensor. These are cameras that switch into parking mode after your vehicle is parked for a few minutes. The BlackSys dash cams can also work with this output method if the 'Use External Power' option is enabled.

Spliced Hardwire Kit Output Harness:
This kit is designed to work with the BlackSys and Thinkware dash cams. The hardwire kit is pre-spliced by one of our technicians so that it will switch into parking mode based on the ignition. Thinkware dash cams will not switch into parking mode if the female cigarette socket is used.

Unspliced 3-Wire Hardwire Kit:
If you already have a three wire (B+, ACC, Ground) hardwire kit, you can splice it into the Cellink Battery B battery pack output yourself. This is a good option for the DIY-ers out there.

What is a dash cam?

A dash cam stands for a dashboard camera that is mounted inside the vehicle, usually on the front windshield. A dash cam, depending on the model, can do many things such as record both when the vehicle is being driven and when it’s parked, record audio, provide a connection to a smartphone app so that video can be reviewed and saved on the spot, etc.

What is an IR dash cam?

An IR dash cam is a dash cam with infrared lights that provide recording details under poorly-lit conditions, as well as total darkness. These are dual-channel dash cam setups with a regular front-facing unit and a secondary unit that comes with infrared lights.

The secondary unit is typically mounted to face and record the interior of the vehicle, and thus is especially recommended for rideshare users, such as for Uber and Lyft, or for commercial use, such as fleet managers.

Why buy a premium dash cam?

There are a few reasons as to why this is the case, and these reasons make a huge difference. Learn more about premium features including design, parking mode, smartphone integration, 4K UHD video resolution, g-force, ADAS, memory card storage and more.

What is parking mode?

Parking mode recording is a feature of a dash cam that keeps your dash cam recording footage even when the vehicle is off. Typically found only in premium dash cams, parking mode provides around-the-clock protection and surveillance for the vehicle.

What is Wi-Fi & GPS?

The wi-fi feature in a dash cam is what allows a smartphone to be paired to the dash cams. Unlike a regular wi-fi network signal that gives you internet access, the purpose here is just to connect the dash cam and smartphone together.

The GPS feature in a dash cam shows the vehicle’s speed and, for some models, the location of the vehicle with Google Maps integration.

What is a Radar Detector?

Radar Detector is a device that detects invisible radar waves that are used to get a speed measurement of your vehicle. When the radar detector is triggered by the invisible radar waves, an audio and visual alert is set off for the driver to slow down to avoid speeding tickets.

What are false alerts on a Radar Detector?

False alerts are when the radar detector picks up on radar signatures not from a police officer. Two common types are stationary and moving false alerts.

What are the differences between a Ka, K, and X bands?

X Band radar waves fall between 8.0ghz and 12ghz. Law enforcement X band radar guns operate universally on 10.5ghz.

K Band radar waves fall between 18ghz and 27ghz. Police K band radar operates strictly at 24.125ghz and 24.15ghz.

Ka Band radar waves fall between 33.4ghz and 36.0ghz. With very few exceptions, if your radar detector alerts a Ka band, you can be sure there is a legitimate threat ahead or behind you.

What is MRCD or MultaRadar CD?

MultaRadar is a brand new threat to drivers across North America. Unlike traditional technology, MultaRadar does not operate at just one frequency which renders many old radar detectors obsolete from detecting MultaRadar.

What is the return policy?

We fully stand behind our products and are absolutely confident that they will meet and exceed your highest expectations. However, within 30 days of purchase, if you are unhappy with your unit or if you simply wanted to try out a dash cam, we will refund your money. No questions asked. For more details, click here.

It works

It doubled the recording time in park. I came with no instructions. I had to dig around online to find how to interface with the app and how to connect it. I have both batteries in my glove compartment which will be fine in the winter. I'll have to wait to see how summer treats the batteries in there. The app is still broke on Android 14 so I wish they would get that fixed.

Works Great Glad I Bought It

Bought the extender because I am actually running 2 different dashcam units off the same cell-link neo. Thinkware Q800 pro 2 channel and thinkware f200 pro with the multiplexer running 5 channel system. So without the extender I was getting 8.5 hours running both systems, motion activated for parking mode. Now when I'm stuck late at work and the over 12 hours I still have 25% battery left. Very easy to set up and works great.
