Amazing sound!

I'm really digging the sound of this speaker vs. the Celestion V-30 I had in my Mesa cab. The V-30 sounded too harsh and I could never find the tone I was searching for. The G12T solved my tone chasing and sounds great with my Hughes & Kettner head...all of which I've purchased at Sweetwater, including the Gibson Les Paul in the pic! Thanks again to Steve Chamoun for quickly correcting my wrong order! You're the best dude!

This Speaker Rocks

DO NOT give in to the people who say this is the worse speaker Celestion makes. WRONG! Some people are Deaf or lost pat of their hearing. I put this in my Blues Jr and it gave it new life. Great sound, loud and it does not Pearse the mids like the Original Fender speaker. In fact, it livened up my Tele and Strat where It has all the power tones right up front. Of course you can tone it if you want for jazz or slow blues. But if you need that up front glass like upper bite, This speaker does just that without digging forks in your ears. I'm happy, I would recommend this speaker to any fender player. I don' have a les Paul so I cannot vouch for its ability for that kind of guitar.

Great upgrade for my Marshall

I had purchased the DSL20 amp and cab combo. The DSL is notorious for being a very bright amp and the tone out of Celes Seventy/80's wasn't giving me the growl I wanted. I replaced them with the G12T's and it made it a completely different amp. The highs and mids are a perfect balance of crisp yet smooth. The speakers bring out the bass in my amp so well I can feel the vibrations. I can actually hear the reverb setting in the amp as it sounds as if I'm playing in a loud hall just in the music room. I play a lot of hard rock/metal but I turned the distortion off and played a little clean blues and Pink Floyd type riffs. On a clean channel it almost sounds like an acoustic. Very well balanced. Not too bright or muddy but just right. Very happy with these speakers.

I have so many of these I have lost count lol great all around guitar speaker for the price just got 4 more is why the review

Amazing

Swapped this in my new DSL40C instead of the stock 70/80. Immediate improvement. Added body and warmth to the clean but retained the high end, and bug and full sounding on the dirty channel.
