Caleb's story was poignant and engaging. I was happy to receive an ARC copy of this book from the author and Voracious Readers Only and really enjoyed the story. The story involves coping with grief and loss - not just through death, but also because of choices made by many of the characters. Understanding Gabby's relationship with Caleb involves understanding her parents, her and Caleb rolled up in one big ball of emotions. The story brings the reader through grief, joy and reconciliation in its many forms and made for a gripping read. Personally, I could have done without some of the descriptive bedroom scenes as a couple of times they went on for a bit. A unique story, well layered with a satisfying ending.
I received a copy of this book from voracious readers and I liked reading it. The whole romance was soo cute and endearing, I loved it. I loved Gabby, she was such a strong person and such an interesting character. I also really liked the structure and pacing of the book it all went together really nicely. I would recommend this book to people who like romances.
Loved this story. I wanted a feel good story and this was it. I finished it in one afternoon. I will read more from this author. I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author via Voracious Readers Only.
This was a pretty sweet story. Caleb and Gabby were solid mains and the chemistry between them was well done. I liked their back stories, but it seemed most of the novel was centered on Caleb and his flashbacks - it would have been nice to read more from Gabby's perspective. Overall though, a lovely book about overcoming past tragedies and finding happiness and love.
Thank you Voracious Readers and Kathleen Ryder for my copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Caleb’s Song was a good story. It had anguish and love! There were some minor grammar and spelling errors. I felt the flashbacks were over done. Though I liked the last flashback with the conclusion.
Enjoyable story. Needs a reader to edit it though - a few typos scattered throughout. Received as a complimentary review copy from the author via Voracious Readers Ony in return for an honest review.
Not a bad romance with some steamy stuff too. Loved the story line but felt somewhat confused by the change in the writing style. Nice to read an Aussie book.
