These soft cotton blankets make a perfect baby shower gift as they come nicely wrapped and tied up in a white silk bow. While I did not get these to hand out as a gift, I did put them right to use with our two small girls. Well actually I popped them right into the washing machine first, and they came out of the dryer fluffed and ready to go. They are lightweight for summer use and are nice to place over the babies when the air conditioning is going full blast - perfect for us overheated adults but a bit too cool for our little ones. They also seem to be woven with a nice insulating factor which will work well as an extra layer of protection and warmth in the winter.
