It’s Andrew and Amanda’s turn… in duplicate

We’re having twins.

Twins.

Which means my shooters are stronger than my brother’s. I win.

Yeah, yeah, everyone can say it’s not a competition, but it is.

And we all know it.

Two babies at once means double the fun, and double the misery for my poor wife, Amanda. While I’m growing a Fortune 500 company, she’s growing two entire human beings out of nothing but orange cheese snacks and ice cream.

Do you have any idea how hard I’ve worked during this pregnancy, tracking down orange smoothies for her?

Not to mention being forced to Facetime into a childbirth class on perineal massage, rescuing Chuckles the cat from being shaved bald by my two-year-old niece, and fighting with a wife who has named the twins Lefty and Righty.

By the time we hit the ninth month, my entire world revolves around pleasing — and protecting — her.

Even if it means humiliating myself in the name of love.

Wait a minute. Wait a minute, now.

Hold on.

Is she the one who’s winning?

Andrew and Amanda are BACK in the newest New York Times bestselling Shopping series book as they “beat” Declan and Shannon in the baby competition, but at what cost? As their future awaits them in the form of twins, Amanda and Andrew face ghosts from the past with wit, humor, and most of all — plenty of love.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge. Since 2013, she has sold more than 2 million books, with 5 New York Times bestsellers and more than 21 appearances on the USA Today bestseller list. Her books have been translated into French, German, and Italian, with more titles releasing in the future.

From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men's room toilet (and he isn't a billionaire in a rom com).

She also writes romantic suspense as Meli Raine, sexy shifter romances as DJ Jennings, billionaire shifters as half of the author team Diana Seere, and co-authors with Elisa Reed.

She lives in New England with her husband and three children in a household where she is the only person with the gene required to change empty toilet paper rolls.

A perfect feel-good novel that had me engaged the whole time. It was balanced well between steamy moments, laughs and seriousness. As always we alternate between the female and male characters, and it works well. I had a great time listening to the story.

5 star review Shopping For A CEO's Baby (Shopping for a Billionaire #16) by Julia Kent

Wow, what a great book! Congratulations, Ms. Kent on a great addition to what is in my humble opinion a fantastic series. As with every book I have read in this series, I was in stitches having laughed so much I cried. That’s right, not only laughing but snort laughing, totally unattractive I assure you. I have always enjoyed reading about Amanda and Andrew and after reading Shopping For A CEO’s Baby, I love them even more.

Throw in their families, who quite frankly are as mad as hatters and what a fun read it was. Having said all that, be prepared for some swoon worthy and tear jerking moments. All I will say is that I loved Andrew before and I love him even more now.

As you can imagine from trying to conceive till the birth can be an emotional roller coaster, increase it by two, add in the nuttiness that is Amanda and Andrew and their families and you just know that this is going to be one heck of a ride.

What a simply brilliant addition to one of my favourite romantic comedy series ever.

THE REVIEW FOR THE BOOK: SHOPPING FOR A CEO'S BABY

GENRE: CONTEMPORARY ROMANTIC COMEDY.
AUTHOR:JULIA KENT.
TYPE: BOOK #16 in the series, but can be read as a Standalone.
POV: DUAL PERSPECTIVE.
MY RATING: 5 "Babies are coming" STARS.

This was my first book by Julia Kent...I know I am so late on this ride of Shopping for the Billionaire...But better late than never...And I would have traded anything to read Amanda and Andrew's journey into parenthood.

Andrew and Deccan have always been the kind of brothers who clicked yet always compete with each other. From the previous book, we came to know that Shannon and Deccan had a baby...but Andrew took this too as a challenge and from his POV, He came out on top...He is having TWINS...But he came to know what a load of hard work is waiting for him in the future...Fortunately for us, we are going to laugh our hearts out in this hilarious, smile-inducing, heartwarming take of newly expectant parents and their rough ride into parenthood.

For Amanda, having Twins comes with more responsibility than she signs up for. Her mood swings are all over the place, I really enjoyed the way Andrew had to walk on eggshells around her because hormones made her unpredictable.

There were some scenes here that just made me burst out in unstoppable laughing fit and some scenes made you tear up with happy tears.
I have not experienced motherhood yet, but man Julia Paints a very realistic picture here.

And when Amanda finally gave birth to the twins, my emotions were all over the place.
The secondary characters were just so supportive and lively...Some couples I encountered have their own books in the series and I can't wait to grab their books.

"Overall, This book was about Newly expecting parents finding their way around the whole scenario and making peace with the past."

A Gorgeous Heartwarming Story With Laughs, Emotions, Sweet+Swoony moments and Love❤.
DEVOURED this in a few hours.
ARC Received for an honest Review.

Andrew, Amanda and Friends are Back in Shopping for a CEO's Baby!
In previous book, A+A've announced that they're having twins, ‘Beating’ Shannon+Declan (who've a Singleton) *Hotshot Brotherly Competition*, so of course I was excited for this story!

With Twins coming, Everything's Double! Amanda's Morning Sickness, Orange Cravings (Just like Shannon!), High Pregnancy Hormones & Insecurities. Andrew handles it all (+his Company) with Patience, Grace and Sweetness *Swoon*.

Amanda's a Fixer But with babies coming, many things are out of control from her. It's Scary AND Worth It.
50% of the book's also from Andrew's PoV *Yay!*, Seeing his Love & Adoration to Amanda & their unborn kids is so Special❤ AND the Guys' Gym antics are FUN!

Pam (Amanda's Mom) is a soothing Presence.
[We see Leo (Amanda's Estranged Dad) towards the end too, Making Amends]
James (Andrew's Dad) is Quite the Sexist Pig but Babies Melt the hardest Hearts Out there, His too.
Baby Ellie is almost 2yrs old and Seeing Declan+Shannon parenting..*Happy Tears* They're Great Dad & Mom!

I'm so Honored to See Andrew+Amanda's Journey, all throughout the series, & Now becoming parents. It's filled with Surprises, Hilariousness and Feels!
~Tire tug of war, Babysitting *FUN*, Baby Shower (+Baby photos! *Cute!*), Childbirth Class, Twin complications *Oh no*, Vulnerability, Priorities + New ventures, Daddy issues..~
Andrew's a workaholic and with babies Coming, he has a lot on his plate. Family Triumphs it all though, Even work.
Amanda's hanging out with the girls is Merry+Insightful!

Problems do arise but The Delivery is Relatively normal (Totally comparing with Shannon+Declan!).
It's more of the Babies Meet after that is a Chaos, Ahem I mean Amusing *Chuckle*.
The later scenes are Gorgeous! A+A made babies, so Magical+Beautiful!❤

The Epilogue's Amazing+Cute😍, a glimpse into Their life with babies.

I hope we get more future books to see The babies Grow!
(AND There're so many Couples-to-be!)

I finished Andrew and Amanda's journey into parenthood a few hours ago and want to go and read it again! The story was fun and pulled at my heart quite a few times.

Of course Andrew and Declan are still in a competing with each other, I feel more on Andrew's part than Declan. Vince puts them in their place on more than one occasion. Amanda being a doer for everyone has to let others do for her at the same time finding the strength and confidence in herself to become a mother.

I was so happy to have Terry pop up from time to time, and of course Amanda and her family. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for more in the Shopping series. Everyone knows how much I love Declan and Shannon and I am still longing for some Hamish and Amy. Thank you Julia for continuing with this wonderful and entertaining series!

This is the 16th book in this phenomenal series and is Andrew and Amanda’s journey. This story is hysterical form the very beginning, and Andrew is so chuffed that he is the winner over Declan and Shannon as they had one baby, whereas he and Amanda are having twins. I laughed so hard in this story I was crying, and it is not many authors who manage to achieve that, but this talented author manages it in spades, and add in a crazy family with their antics, and this is an amazing addition to this series. This is a beautifully written tale which is moving, emotional, fun, entertaining humorous, and with a twist, which all lead to an all-consuming and addictive page turner. I highly recommend for all readers.

I was so happy to read this book ...Amanda and Andrew are having a baby not just one but two...twins!!! This isn't just any baby this is the baby that will give Andrew the win as he puts it because he is having twins where Declan and Shannon only had 1 baby!!! Amanda has twice the morning sickness with these babys and can only eat things orange if you can only imagine what that can look like...cheetos in smoothies, baked good etc! We see the regular cast of family members and a surprise one! We see both Andrew and Amanda wonder if they will be great parents, can they be a mom and a dad ...will they take advise from those who are and have been parents? This book has some parts that had me laughing out loud and others that I had tears in my eyes ...when Amanda gave birth and we meet her babies. As I read on I noticed that Andrew grew and became determined to be the best dad he could be to be there for his wife and kids not missing as he dad was when he and Declan were growing up especially after their Mom had died! This book was filled with emotion, laughter, tenderness and watching the entire group of characters get closer together as both family and friends! I want to thank Julia Kent for giving me the opportunity to read this in advance of its release. I look forward to more books in this series who knows what could happen next with this group!!!

Preparing for the arrival of one baby is a challenge but preparing for twin can lead to chaos but the one thing that Andrew can take solace in is that he has outdone his brother Declan. He is determined to make the pregnancy as easy and stress free as possible for his wife is his number one priority but between his career and her cravings that is easier said than done.

Between her food cravings and her emotions, the arrival of the twin can’t come soon enough. Their friends and family may be wild and wacky, but they prove once again that they will be there for support and comfort through all the ups and down that life throws at you.

This story has all the humor that we have come to know and love from this family, but this story is certain to pull at your heartstrings as well.

After 16 books in this series and many more I've read from Julia I had very specific and set expectations from this book. And honestly, this was not what I was expecting.

Julia's books are like episodes in a friend-group-comedy series. They're usually this crazy mix of random happenstance that will have you LOLing and awkward cringing throughout.

Shopping for a CEO's Baby broke the mold, and in full disclosure: it threw me off at first.
It's more real and deep than what I'm used to, lacking any Marie-James shenanigans but dealing with feelings, and instead of hollering out in laughter I actually found myself shedding more than one tear.

But here's the thing: it works. This book wasn't what I expected. No, it was better. It showed me a whole new layer to Julia's writing and I'm so grateful for that.

I have loved this series from the start , Shopping A Billionaire’s baby has been my favorite for quite and while and I wasn’t sure anything would ever beat it but Andrew and Amanda’s journey to parenthood is just as wonderful.

There are so many great moments in this book, moments that will make you laugh and moments that will make you tear up. The story is real and genuine and easy to read. It is funny and sweet just like all the rest of the books in the series.

I love all these people in this series, Andrew and Amanda and Declan and Shannon and Carol, Marie and Jason, Pam and Gerard and Vince, Grace and even James and Terry, although we don’t know him well. They are some of my favorite book characters ever.

What an absolutely heartwarming story! Once again this author has made me laugh hysterically and a few chapters later had me crying! Now don’t worry, the tears were emotional ones. The kind you get when watching Hallmark commercials at Christmas time. I loved watching Amanda and Andrew learn about themselves and each other as this story unfolded. Fans of Shopping for a Billionaire series will love this story without a doubt! It’s also fun to see favorites from other series making a cameo! I’m trying not to say too much because I don’t want to ruin anyone’s enjoyment of this book. I’ll end this by saying, I loved this book and I think everyone else will too!

From the first page until the end I enjoyed this story. Happy to be current on the Shopping collection. Andrew and Amanda are a sweet couple and has been nice to see their journey of friendship. I like to go into a story blind so do not add a lot of details in my review's. If you are a fan of the series you will enjoy this addition. If you are a newbie this is a nice way to get an overview of how the rest of the collection is. Also nice to listen to the audiobooks in the collection. A list of fantastic super talented narrators have also brought this series to life over the years.

Grab the tissues and hang on for the ride. Amanda and Andrew are about to become parents, and even watching Shannon and Declan go through it before them hasn’t prepared them for everything it takes to bring twins into the world. But with the support of each other and the amazing friends and family that surround them, they’ll make it through. No matter what the bumps in their road. I don’t know what it is about Andrew and Amanda’s story that always chokes me up. Sure, there’s still all the crazy zaniness I expect around anyone dealing with the McCormick and Jacoby families, but there’s also a sense of introspection, a poignancy, that isn’t nearly so front and center in Shannon and Declan’s books. Sometimes, after this many books, a series can get stale, but that’s not even close to being the case with this one. The characters at the heart of the Shopping series continue to grow and evolve, and the series along with them. I have no idea where the author is going to take us next, but I can’t wait to go there. In the meantime, I may just have to read this again. It was that good.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

I first discovered Julia Kent through her Shopping series, and I am so glad that I've hung on through the ride. Shopping For A CEO's Baby is the perfect addition to this hilarious, hot, and heartwarming series about the McCormicks and their (mis)adventures in building companies, fortunes, and families while trying to keep their sanity in check.

Declan and Andrew McCormick are the type of brothers who never stop competing. Although Declan impregnated his wife, Shannon, first in Shopping for a Billionaire's Baby, Andrew would argue that Declan didn't really win this competition. Why? Because Andrew's wife Amanda is pregnant with identical twins.

Fans of Andrew and Amanda will love seeing their relationship continue to blossom and mature, while also appreciating the personal challenges each faces in preparing for their growing family. Andrew, a man with a complicated relationship with his father, is dedicated to finding a work-life balance to prove to himself, and his wife, that he can do better than his own father. In addition to weird orange food cravings, hormones, and changes to her body, Amanda grapples with coming to terms with her parents' own shortcomings and how that may affect her own foray into motherhood.

As with all other Julie Kent books, Shopping for a CEO's Baby is a beautiful mix of laugh out loud moments, heartwarming situations that draw a tear, poignant themes, and of course great romance. Julia makes a family of powerful billionaires seem so very realistic as they meander into the unknown challenges that are faced by "regular" people each and every day. A brilliant look at what it means to be a parent -- a good one -- I highly recommend this book.

~4.5⭐Rating~

In Shopping for a CEO's Baby we follow Andrew and Amanda McCormack as McCormack they to navigate their changing lives as they get ready to welcome their twin baby boys. As with everything in his Andrew sees having twins as the ultimate one upping his brother Declan, adding to the fact that he has super swimmers, he managed to produce the first McCormack grandsons.

••

But all is not smooth sailing for Amanda and Andrew, as the two deal with Amanda's wacky all Cheetos and only things orange diet while Amanda comes face to face with her own parents shortcomings. All while Andrew tries to walk the fine line of being an ambitious CEO but also an involved father.

••

I absolutely love Julie Kent's work, all her books just hold something magical about them. The thing that stands out the most for me is they way Kent makes the elite life and family of a billionaire come across as so normal, showing that they to face the same struggles as a regular man.

••

I absolutely loved watching Andrew and Amanda on their journey to parenthood. These two characters were just to cute. I loved Amanda's Cheeto crazed pregnancy diet and they way they called the babies lefty and righty. Though I have to say I got a good laugh out of the names they picked for the boys after all their hard work not to pick anything that Declan can tease them about.

••

Shopping for a CEO'S baby was the perfect mix of laugh out loud moments mixed in with plenty of tearjerker scenes all while holding true to it romance roots. Even though this book is part of a series it can be read as a standalone, though once you start you will just want to know what is going on with all the other characters lives too!

CHARMING STORY!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍

Loved this charming and lovely book! Actually I loved the entire series. As a matter of fact when this book arrived on my Fire Tablet I decided to go back and re-read the entire "Shopping" series so that I would be reacquainted with all the characters and get maximum enjoyment out of this latest book.... I am so glad I did because I was enchanted and enthralled once again by Julia Kent's writing!!!! This book is such a wonderfully written story .... I always am intrigued at how easily Julia mixes the sometimes uncomfortable realities of life, with deep love, great laugh out loud humor, sweet touching moments and endearing family chaos!!! She is a superb writer! There is never a dull moment in this book!!... And you never know what wacky thing will happen next.... Or, when your heart will be so touched that you have to reread a sentence over because the words are so beautiful and moving!!! Andrew and Amanda love deeply and with tenderness, understanding and acceptance of each other which is so heartwarming.... Plus they are a sexy and very romantic couple.... I couldn't wait until the twins were born and was up until 4 AM reading about them! It was well worth it... I also enjoyed the epilogue very much.... I love authors who give us a nice substantial epilogue... They rank very highly with me! 😁😊. All the characters are so interesting... All with very human issues... but all highly committed to each other with love, support and affection shown in their own various personal ways. I highly recommend this book.... You will smile, laugh, maybe get sad too but mostly you will be so happy and contented to meet up with the Shopping Series' wonderful characters and antics again!!! 😇

Whenever I dive into a new Julia Kent book, I expect hilarity to ensue, particularly if it’s in the Shopping series. I expect the down-to-Earth relatability of best friends, Amanda and Shannon. I expect the brotherly competition and machismo from Andrew and Declan. I expect the close family and friendships the characters all hold, with a touch of some overly-involved parents/in-laws. And of course, I expect some of the wackiest, most unpredictable (and yet oddly believable) situations you’ll ever find in a romantic comedy. Shopping for the CEO’s Baby delivers on ALL of that, just like the rest of the series before it. What I didn’t expect with this new installment in the series was a depth of emotion you don’t typically find in a romantic comedy. There are many laughs to be had. But there are also quite a few deep moments with Andrew and Amanda preparing for new parenthood and reflecting on the histories they each have with their Dads. Moments that I can remember having when I gave birth to my own child. The miracle of creating a life and experiencing all of the joy, and occasional misery, that comes with it. Irreplaceable memories that still bring tears to my eyes. Andrew and Amanda building their family will give you deep belly laughs, regular chuckles, and such tender moments and depth of character you just don’t usually get from your average romantic comedy. Julia Kent has pure talent for bringing out the true depth of her characters and allowing us to see a bit of ourselves and our loved ones in each of them. Hopefully the McCormick clan doesn’t go away any time soon.

I love the Shopping for the billionaire series! I was hooked from book one when Shannon and Declan met. Andrew and Amanda were making out in closets when they were first introduced. After three years of marriage Andrew and Amanda are having twins. Andrew and Declan are still in competition the baby competition and Andrew is winning. They are still remodeling Andrew’s childhood home to their liking. Amanda is eating for three and everything is orange. Her favorite Cheeto marshmallow treats has turned into a Cheeto smoothie. She has morning sickness and Cheetos are the only thing that helps. Vince is Andrew’s personal trainer notices his finger tips are orange and freaks out. Vince trains Andrew and can’t believe he eats that stuff. Declan and Gerald are laughing at him. Andrew bought all the gym’s from Jorg. Andrew wanted something outside of the Andterdec. Only Jorg and Amanda knows about the gyms. He tells Declan about his ownership and offers Vince a job to run them. Andre and Amanda offer to babysit Ellie while Shannon and Declan goes out to dinner. Andrew sees what a good father Declan is and hopes he could be just as good. Uncadoo and Manna get a rude awakening about babysitting. Amanda is a natural with Ellie and he has to learn so much. Being the CEO of a Fortune 500 company has its setback like having to FaceTime the birthing class because he is stuck and tries to make it. I’m so happy for them. Twin boys. The names they have lefty and righty until they can come up with some names. I love it. Andrew stands up to his father. Amanda’s father comes back in her life. Twists and turns that’s how they get through it together. Julia definitely another great book!!

All of the books in Julia Kent’s Shopping series deliver lots of laughs while simultaneously pulling at your heart strings. Shopping for a CEO’s Baby is certainly no exception. In fact, if you don’t smile or outright chuckle while reading this book, you might want to check that your sense of humor is still intact. I personally found that this particular book hit me in the feels even more than some of the other books in the series, and that’s saying something. Julia Kent exquisitely details the exciting, overwhelming, funny, and sometimes downright terrifying journey from that of husband and wife to mother and father. She does a wonderful job of cataloguing the joys and the fears brought on by impending parenthood, as told from the viewpoints of both mother and father—Amanda and Andrew, in this case. And I have to say, the glimpse into the mind of an expectant father was truly eye opening and heartwarming.
I am the proud mother of a nearly twenty-year-old son, and this book took me right back to the time when I was expecting him. My heart was so full reading this book. When it comes to parenthood—impending or otherwise—the struggle is real. But you won’t find another book that so beautifully and accurately details that struggle… but more importantly, the all-encompassing and unconditional love that drives it. I honestly could not recommend this book highly enough. I absolutely adored this story!

* I was given an ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to review. All of my opinions are honest and entirely my own.
