Product Description
The Morakniv Companion is an all-in-one knife made for outdoor enthusiasts. Equipped with a patterned, high-friction grip, it’s comfortable to hold and easy to handle. It also features a 4.1-inch (104 mm) blade made of high-quality stainless steel. The Companion performs well during high-impact tasks, like creating tinder or cutting wood. When used in wet applications, the blade should be dried thoroughly to prevent blade corrosion and may exhibit a patina or natural discoloration over time. You should also clean and oil your off-grid knives regularly, especially after contact with acidic foods like oranges. Includes a sheath with belt clip.

In closing, I really really like this knife, in case you couldn’t tell. Here in NY, you could spend $24 on a regular pie. THIS might be the best 24 bucks I ever spent.

Top reviews from other countries
The steel is extremely sharp out of the bag (there is no box) and the finish is super pretty - almost too attractive to use. Slices like a charm and the first thing I did with this is eat a New York strip with it. Cuts like butter. I have also cut open packages, sliced an apple, opened mail, and made a feather stick - all tasks done with ease.
The sheath is rigid and lightweight and provides really good retention when properly pushed in. The belt loop feels secure and provides an opening for you to secure to a jacket button if desired. However, that method does not lock the fastener in place. There is a drain hole at the tip of the sheath to evacuate any trapped liquids once sheathed.
The whole knife is well built and lightweight. Very sturdy. I just wish the spine was not rounded, so that I can strike ferro rods and scrape with it. I might be grinding this down with a file eventually. Do yourself a favour and buy this knife!
