A little note about 3D zones - I feel like most binoculars under $500 really don't have one (but these do, albeit a small one). To me, a 3D zone is a region in which the focus is so good, there is depth to what your eyes can adapt to within the field of view (this is smaller than the overall field of view, even on super high end binos!), so your brain makes that connection and the image pops into a true immersive 3D scene - which is wonderful. If the image isn't sharp enough, your eyes can't really discern differences in focus for small changes in depth of field, so the only 3D information is by superposition, which is not nearly as enjoyable. Anyway, these binoculars have some great attributes, including a small 3D zone, and are oh so close to being truly great. But the quality control isn't quite there, and I think it's probably unlikely to happen on a set of binoculars at this price. So, in summary, really great binoculars for the price. Worth considering even if your budget is upwards of ~$600.
Oh yeah, LIFETIME WARRANTY!!
