I was surprised to find myself intrigued enough to follow this unknown (to most) writer to the conclusion--or semi-conclusion at this point -- of two stories. Though the plots are thin and the characters need rounding out more fully, I enjoyed the flow of her writing, the amusing addition of magical companions Sam and Beau, and her view of special abilities as an accepted reality in her life and in the lives of others. That I only caught 1 copyediting error I couldn't ignore (in punctuation) also impressed me, as that is better than many famous publishing houses. Keep writing, Ms B.!
