Breathtaking, passionate, romantic -- for all fans of Outlander!

While chaperoning a high school trip to the Scottish Highlands, Amy MacDougall descends into Inverlochy Castle dungeon. Deep in the crumbling ruins, she touches a magical rock and travels through time to 1307.

Infiltrating the castle, Highlander Craig Cambel imprisons Amy. A MacDougall, she’s his clan’s sworn enemy. But when he’s forced to marry the fierce beauty, he surrenders to desire. Amy needs to return to the twenty-first century, but her feelings for Craig are growing stronger every day.

It's the year 1307, and she's the enemy.

Will the pull of centuries divide them, or can destiny bind them across the ages?

This is a new book by Mariah Stone, I received as a ARC to review and give my honest opinion! Story starts at Dunollie Castle in Lorne Scotland in the year of 1296, the Caste is the seat of the MacDougall clan, the Campbell clan attacked the castle to rescue Marjorie Campbell. She was kidnapped and raped and beaten by Alasdair Mac Dougall, the son of the Laird John Mac Dougall, Craig Campbell Marjorie brother got in the castle to get her out. At the end of the battle Craig finds out his grandfather had died. Robert the Bruce was also at the battle and gave the castle to Craig to defend for him. In the year 2020 Amy Mac Dougall and her sister were on school trip with students, they were at Inverlochy Castle in Scotland, and one of the students fell through a tunnel in the ruins of the castle.Amy went in to rescue the girl .While in the tunnel Amy found a hand print in a rock and fell through time to 1306 at the castle in a tower, and Craig finds her. This is where the story gets very interesting and exciting, I think you will enjoy this book as much as I have, I gave this story a 5 stars as it keep me turning the pages to find out what would happen between Craig and Amy.They both have issues in life, and till the end you never know how things will turn out for the two of them.I enjoyed this book so much I read it and months later was given a audio book as ARC, I fell in love with the book again. Great to listen to!
