What a wonderful romance. Elle is working to be veterinarian and has been attracted to Connor since she was 14. When her grandmother suggests she intern with Connor, she jumps at the chance. Of course, Connor doesn’t make it easy with his cold and demanding ways. She truly believes he hates her. Connor is fighting his attraction to Elle every day knowing she needs a mentor and teacher as she works on her degree. He also struggles with the 8-year age difference. But most of all, is the challenges his ex-wife provides as he works to spend time with his daughter. Connor is great at keeping his personal life private and in Eldorado, that is amazing given the close-knit community and how much he interacts with everyone as the only vet in the area. I thought he was just a jerk from previous books but I became a huge fan as I learned the true heart of the man. I love how this journey built for them and allowed me to truly be invested in each one of them and wanting them to find that forever happily ever after.

4 Star review Bossing The Cowboy (Circle B Ranch #4) by Kennedy Fox It was good to be back on the Circle B Ranch. This time we are getting Elizabeth (Elle) Bishop and Dr. Connor Wallen’s story and it was a good addition to the series. Elle is studying to be a veterinarian and when her grandmother arranges for her to intern for Connor you just know that things are about to become complicated. After a messy divorce, Connor has thrown himself into his work and being a single dad to his daughter, Olivia (who almost steals the book from Connor and Elle). The last thing he needs is to be attracted to his new intern but that is exactly what happens. You can feel the tension build as Connor does his best to ignore the attraction that he feels for Elle. Poor Elle, she has no idea why he is being such a jerk to her but she is determined to do her job, despite Connor. The progression of their relationship was entertaining to watch unfold as the story jumps in time on occasion. Bossing The Cowboy is well written and you will be drawn in by the story that Kennedy Fox weaves. It was also fun to see some familiar faces make an appearance and I look forward to being back at the Circle B Ranch soon.

This is the 4th story in this awesome series, and each novel just gets better and better. Connor is a veterinarian who is dedicated to his job and having just gone through a messy divorce and custody battle, and as his ex-moved 4-hours away, he treasures every moment with his daughter. Elizabeth / Ellie is studying to become a vet and needing to intern to graduate she works for Connor, who she hates with his grumpy ways, and she avoids him whenever possible. The chemistry between these two is sizzling and undeniable, and when Ellie graduates, she is surprised when Connor offers her a job. This is a well written story which this dynamic duo has done a fantastic job in weaving this tale, which is an emotional roller coaster throughout, and this is a sweet, heartwarming, and steamy love story. I look forward to reading more from this duo whose work I highly recommend.
