Looking for extreme tonal flexibility? Onboard the Series One 200, you've got four channels (six modes), so you can get a range of flavors. Blackstar also gave the Series One 200 two of their exclusive ISF controls (ISF stands for Infinite Shape Feature). Using it in conjunction with your bass, middle, and treble controls, you can nail the exact tonal signature you want.
If you're the plug-and-play sort of guitarist, then you'll be right at home in front of the Series One 200. But if you've got a mind for the high-tech, then you'll dig this mighty little combo, too. The Blackstar Series One 200 supports MIDI channel switching, allowing you to simultaneously select an amp channel and change the patch on a MIDI effects processor you have connected to the effects loop. Very nice. It supports 128 program changes, so you can access a wide range of tonal combinations.
Last but not least, the Blackstar Series One 200 has a convenient DPR (Dynamic Power Reduction) control. Grab the DPR and adjust the output power of the amp from 200 watts (200%) all the way down to 20 watts (10%) of the rated power. The control even adjusts the power amp compression, giving you a more playable feel when you're enjoying the comfortable listening levels of the reduced power settings.
