While I wouldn't choose it for a contractor or other heavy-duty use, it worked flawlessly and performed much better than I expected for the price!
Had 11 1/2" holes, about 5" deep, to drill. First 3 worked pretty good, but by the time I made it through 4 hole things started. the keyless chuck didn't want to hold the drill bit, then the screw that holds the chuck onto the drill shaft, fell out. As I put the chuck screw back into place, I notice that the drill shaft has a bit of wear slop already. Now on to the 5th hole, the drill is now starting to smell a bit hot and getting an occasional spark coming out. I let it cool off for a while, then took a while to get there but finished the 5th hole, looks quite ugly but will work. Now hole 6, drill has now completely destroyed itself and I now have to buy another drill to complete my project. NO, it will not be another of this type of quality, even if I don't have many uses for a high quality item!
This impact drill from Black and Decker works well and it is simple to use.
The drill works far better at drilling into concrete than a conventional drill and I completed about 50 holes in concrete before the keyless chuck failed.
The keyless chuck that is installed is not capable of handling the abuse of impact drilling.
Note that even though the drill says 1/2" it is in fact a 3/8 drill. The side plate on the drill says 1/2 in (13mm), but the connecting thread mount is 3/8'' - 24UNF.
I replaced the chuck with: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BTY6ZPZ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
