To sum up, the benefits of this tripod are it's lightweight, plenty tall without the center column extended, very sturdy, and it's much less expensive than tripods in the same class from Gitzo or Manfrotto. If you hike with your equipment on your back, need a lightweight but very sturdy tripod to eliminate vibration for long exposures, use professional cameras and lenses and are looking to save some money, then this Tripod is an excellent choice.
Other than that, the build quality seems very good, it's reasonably sturdy even when fully extended, and it stores reasonably compactly. I like the included carrying bag, and I like even more that you can fit the tripod in the bag even if you haven't done a perfect job of folding it up.
It weighs about the same as other decent tripods I've used, and stows to about the same volume.
The only minor irritation is that, compared to my other tripods, this takes a little longer to set up and take down. Because of the way the legs fold and lock, there are a extra couple of steps in unfolding it, and some of the joints are pretty stiff so it simply takes longer to get it done. It's not difficult, but I always need to allow a bit more time.
Bottom line: Really good tripod for my use. If I lost mine, I'd likely buy another one.
Exceptionally high quality. Right out of the box you can see and feel that this is a well made tripod. No stupid flappy loop underneath to tighten the base into the camera that always comes loose, this uses either an allen key (keep mine on car key ring so it's always available) or flathead/coin. Gets crazy tall, maybe over 7', not measured but it towers over me at 5'11".
The only drawback is that it's a bit heavy for an all-around tripod, heavy enough that it might be noticed on a trip into the backcountry for landscape or wildlife shooting. And to be clear I do mean it's "a bit" on the heavier side of expectations, not unreasonably heavy, but if you're going in for a multi-day trip and need to worry about every gram a lighter tripod might be in order.

Only used a handful of times since purchasing but can see this being a part of my kit for years to come.
However, with all this modularity comes a bit of a trade off, it does really like to unscrew itself, in my first trip out I lost a little foot and it's easy to find bits unscrewing themsleves, I guess the problem is everything has hand screws. I have invested in a little bit of loctite blue to secure the bits I don't want moving around.
