Okuma Cerymar Baitfeeder spinning reels feature an easy use on/off auto trip bait feeding system, cyclonic flow rotor design can minimize water intrusion and corrosion. The precision elliptical gearing system creates less friction during casting for increased distance, greater accuracy, and longer line life, as well as smoother, much uniform drag pressures.

This technology utilizes a lightweight graphite construction that is strengthened with solid aluminum in all the right places. Components include a multi-disc, oiled-felt drag, stainless steel bearings, machine-cut brass pinion gear, and an anodized spool.

For a 3500 sized real it seemed a bit on the small side. I wouldnt use it for a Salmon reel. I went to a 4500 for that job. I will use it for different purpose. Looks to be well made and looks good. I think you get more for your money with Okuma Products.

Bought this reel to drop 2-4 oz bucktails and bottom rigs. Do a lot of bottom fishing in snaggy environments. I fish for tog (blackfish) a lot and the bigger ones like to take you into rocks and cut you off. I’m spooled up with 65 lb braid. Just used it last week on a 6 hour fishing trip. Casts very smooth and each turn of the handle gets the line in very fast also was able to get most of my snagged rigs back. Reel is mated up to a St Croix RIFT jig rod (RIFSJ58H) rated for 40-80 lb test line.
