About this ebook

Kailey Henderson dealt in code.

Well, code, social anxiety, and online gaming.

What she didn’t deal in was sexy hockey players.

And she certainly didn’t deal in sexy hockey players like Connor Smith. He was brass. He was loud. He was funny and charming and…ballsy.

Kailey was about the furthest thing from ballsy someone could find.

Connor didn’t seem to care. From the moment she’d showed up at the rink to help her friend set up a player development program for the Baltimore Breakers, he had led a campaign to win her heart.

The thing was, Kailey didn’t actually want her heart to be won, and the more Connor campaigned, the more she resisted. And…the more she resisted and argued and pushed back, the more she found out that she actually could be ballsy.

And the worst thing about that?

It made Connor campaign even harder.

I loved this book so much. It was cute, funny, heartfelt and jam-packed with emotions. I felt a strong personal connection to Kailey and I found Connor epically swoon worthy! I absolutely adored them!! This couple had me falling hard and fast and in the process they handily made a place for themselves on my "Favorite Couples Ever" list. If you are all about the swoon, feels and heart, you do not want to miss out on this one because it is a definite winner. I am freely posting an impartial review.

5 Star review of Ballsy (Breakers Hockey #4) by Elise Faber Book four Ballsy was an entertaining addition to the Breakers Hockey series. This is Connor Smith and Kailey Henderson’s story and it held me hooked from the first chapter. Connor and Kailey could not be more different and yet they worked well as a couple. From the moment he met her, he was determined to pursue her and make her his. I really admired his determination to win Kailey and it was heart warming to watch the love and support that Connor gave to her. It was entertaining to watch the push and pull dynamic as their relationship progressed and for Kailey to finally come into her own. He brought out a confidence she never knew she possessed and that was a joy to watch play out. There were moments where I laughed out loud and moments where I swooned. This was a wonderful read and one that ticked the boxes for me.

What a beautifully written romance and a perfect addition to the Breakers Hockey Series. This is Connor Smith and Kailey Henderson’s heartwarming, fun yet emotional journey. Kailey hasn’t had an easy life, dealing on a daily basis with her social anxiety means the last thing she needs is a high profile hockey player giving her attention. Her family chose to hide her anxiety issues so when Smitty shows her attention and kindness, it doesn’t take long for her to fall for this big, kindhearted man who is dealing with his own issues. Smitty is determined to see the real Kailey and he goes out of his way help her feel comfortable in her own skin and what follows is a heartwarming romance that will appeal to a wide range of audiences. I loved everything about this book, I smiled, I swooned and I cried as I joined Smitty and Kailey on their journey. Ballsy is a wonderful addition to the series but it can certainly be read and loved as a stand-alone, I fell hard and fast for Smitty and I adored Kailey but it was the support and strength they found in each other that took this book to another level. So I guess all I need to say is please one click this gem, you won’t be disappointed.
