Made from rust-free, medical-grade aluminum, the transfer chair features an intuitive 360-degree swivel system that makes getting in and out of the bath a breeze. The medical-grade polyurethane padded seat and backrests provide an extremely comfortable, soft surface preventing rushed showering due to seat discomfort on transfer benches that are made from hard plastics. Pivoting, padded armrests provide ample support to assist individuals in and out of the chair. An integrated safety belt provides additional support to prevent sliding while the armrests create a great barrier from sideways sliding.

The bench features quick tool-less assembly can be completely set up in less than five minutes. Adjustable legs allow for the bench to be installed on most shower and bathtubs. It can be installed for both the right side and left side access. It is recommended to incorporate split shower curtains when using the bench to prevent water from accumulating on the bathroom floor. Additional kits for installation for taller or wider tubs are available on request. The transfer bench is available in gray or blue. The padding and chassis are both easy to clean and disinfect.

The bench has a minimum height of 19 inches and a max height of 24.5 inches. The distance between the largest gap between the legs is 29.5 inches and 20 inches in the smallest gap between the legs. Answer: No, but it is simply sliding legs onto the chair body where small pins pop into holes allowing height to be adjusted. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes. Simple and quick!

Answer: No, the polyurethane seat repels water like a waxed car. Just dry the seat after use with a dry towel.
