Whether you take the lake, wade the rivers, or cast from the shore, St. Croix provides responsive performance ensuring your success below every surface. With a St. Croix rod in hand, you a part of a celebrated tradition.

The 'Action' of a rod is determined by where a rod flexes along the blank. Faster action rods flex mostly near the tip. Moderate action rods flex near the middle of the bank. Slower rods flex down into the butt section.

The 'Power' of a rod refers to how much pressure it takes to flex the rod. Different rod powers are engineer to efficiently handle a certain range of lure weights and line sizes. To select a rod power that will perform best or you, simply narrow your choices to rods designed to cast the weight of lures - size of lines - you'll fish with most often.

I love my stcroix mojo rods. I got a medium/heavy rod with fast action for my texas rig set up. The rod was packaged in a strong shipping tube with bubble wrap. What a relief. No damage and shipping was quick.

This rod is spectacular. I bought this and a Quantum Reliance Spinning Fishing Reel, for a Christmas gift for my son. I knew he would never spend this much on himself. The rod was packaged, only, in a long cardboard box...no padding. I wrapped the box, as it was, and gave it to my son. He opened it and said the tip was broken off. We returned it and I gave him the cash to buy what he wanted. He did order another St. Croix but this time through the company. It arrived packaged in a huge very study tube. He said he read to never buy a rod from Amazon....they don't know how to package them. He loved his new rod....great quality from this company.

I bought this rod for my husband's Christmas gift. I spent a lot of time researching the best product, and spent extra money to get the best quality. This product broke into two pieces on the first cast of fishing over the weekend. Very disappointing!

Like most St. Croix rods it's a little stiff for the rating, somewhere between a M and MH in other brands. Sensitivity is good for finesse fishing, and build quality and weight are great for the price range. The first couple of times I used it I was worried as it felt almost a little too stiff when fighting fish, so I worried about breaking the tip. However, it's handled some nice bass and snagged lures with no issue. If you're looking for casting distance I would go with a longer rod with a bit more whip to it, but for sensitivity and backbone in a light package that's easy to fish all day it's good for the money.

Very good option for a budget fishing rod. Light weight and Very sensitive, I can feel almost everything. This is a 6 feet 8 inches medium/fast and is designed for jerkbait fishing. It cast very well almost the same as a 7-1. I definitely recommend this product.

very good rod light and smooth. very sensitive. love it. only a tiny little flaw, there's a tiny spot damaged on the rod. maybe happened during the shipping. or this could be a manufacturers defect or a used rod. anyway it doesn't bother me that much. It still a great rod!
