A Graphic with Attitude
At Sweetwater, we associate BAE with excellent gear inspired by vintage Neve — except when it's inspired by vintage API. With its punchy signal path and top-drawer components, the BAE G10 500 Series 10-band graphic EQ gives you 12dB of boost or cut at ten carefully selected frequency points for instant, hands-on gratification and surgical sound sculpting during tracking, mixing, and mastering. Bring out the snap of a snare. Make that acoustic guitar sit gorgeous in the track. The G10 imparts its assertive tonal character to any audio you pass through it. Unlike most 500 Series graphic equalizers, the G10 is transformer-balanced on the input and output. And those would be genuine CineMag transformers, for that authoritative 1970s "big-iron" sound. The G10 also employs a 2520-style op-amp, like those used in our favorite '70s American consoles. And to up the ante, BAE adds highpass and lowpass filters, tuned at 80Hz and 12kHz respectively, for trimming undesirables from your frequency extremes. Trust us: the G10 is a must-have addition to your 500 Series rack.
