The item was not put into a waterproof bag, or a box, it was just wrapped in the plastic that held the two gift boxes together with the label slapped, since it didn’t fit in the mailbox. It was just dropped on the front porch and was ruined when it rained before I had an opportunity to take it in.

I have purchased these boxes before and they are actually lovely. I would order the boxes again, if I thought they were going to be packaged properly.
