I am a veterinary assistant. Last month my 10 year old female Doberman, Zoe, become unexpectedly sick at 3am. My husband and I took her to my job once they opened. I won't go into details, but it was not good. Our medical director was there and she treated our girl. Unfortunately, she had to be euthanized. My husband and I wanted something to give to the medical director for her kindness and care she gave to both us and our girl. She had also performed a rough surgery on my manager's dog and he made it through but did pass away at home. Knowing that she gave it everything to help our babies and all the babies of our clients, I saw this and knew it would be perfect. I put it on her desk about 3 weeks after my baby passed away along with a hand written card. She came out her office look at me and held her hand over her heart and mouthed thank you. She told me later that she had been going through some stuff and she really needed this! It also made her cry. If you are thinking about getting this for someone, go ahead. They may need it!! It was great quality. It is a little small, but still it was perfect.
