The light turns red when charging and when the red goes away you'll know it's fully charged. Lasts for a couple hours too even with hours of play. This camera also has games (like Snake) , music mode, and video mode. There may be other discoveries on the camera but these features is what my kiddos use the most. This is heavy duty! It's already been dropped and it's super durable! It is good from ages 4 and up as I feel like that is when they learn how to go through all the features of the camera and navigate through them independently. I love that it came with a SD card because my kiddos have taken hundreds of pictures so far and room for more. We are very pleased with this camera. I highly recommend.

They record and take pictures of everything, super easy to navigate, and I added their favorite songs to their memory card so they can hear the songs they like when we are out and about, battery life is really good, the video quality I wash was a bit better but for the price its not bad. The camera is also very durable, my boys have dropped it and hit it against things a a couple of times and works perfectly fine. Screen is a good size to review pics and videos and to play games. Highly recommend it as a first camera for toddlers!

We got this for our 3 year old after his 9 year old sister received a similar one. He was so very jealous we had to get him something. The photo and video quality is very low resolution but the camera works great for a younger child who just wants to run around taking pics. We don’t upload them anywhere, he just enjoys looking at his photos on the camera itself.

The big downside: We missed the fact this camera has video games. Totally inappropriate for young children. If I had wanted to get him a video game player, I wouldn’t have bought a camera. Huge downside and I would look elsewhere next time. As it is, we have to monitor him and take it away if he starts using the games. What a pain!
