But the adorable Maxine was the woman who fit him perfectly. Both had challenges when young, that forced them to survive on their own. Dash found his family in a unique way, though none shared blood, they shared heart.
Maxine had no one but her little sister. And she was desperate to get to her before less savory elements did. An excellent story of challenges and love.

I think this one in my opinion was too slow and a little boring but because I like the series so much I give it 4 stars instead of something lower. No drama or action At all and none of his friends made a appearance which is one of the reasons I enjoy this series so much there all included each others lives. I'm real curious how the next book is going to turn out.

Dash and Max are desperate to find Max’s sister Marni. She is wanted for under and Max is convinced that there is no way she committed he crime. Wile searching for her sister during the Ground Hog day festivities, Max and Dash find their attraction too big to ignore. Dash promises to help Max find her sister and help through her legal issues, but he also promises to make sure she stays in his life, forever.

I loved the backdrop of the story centering around Punxsutawney Phil and the Groundhog Day festivities in PA. As a Pennsylvanian, Ground Hog day is a tradition and it was nice to see it as a backdrop to the story. Sadly that was all I really liked about the story.

In this installment, none of the other friends are in it. They don’t help Dash, come to the rescue, lend a supporting talk..nothing. For such a close group of friends with assets and resources, I thought each book would include all of them in some way or another. How can Dash fall in love and marry without his family’s participation? This alone was a major disappointment.

The story was cute and introduced another love connection that Im sure we will see again. Otherwise, it isn’t as awesome as the other books which is a shame because Dash was such an integral part of the other friends HEA.

Love this beautifully written love story about Cash & Maxine & hopefully we'll read about Marni & Josh's story next

Another in this series that was really an enjoyable read. Poor Dash did not know what hit him when he saw Maxine for the first time. So opposite each other in all aspects of their life. She needs his help to locate her sister who is being accused of murder. Their search takes them to a town where they celebrate Ground Hog Day every year. They finally find Marnie when she is arrested. Read the book a great story by Elizabeth Lennox. Bring on the next one.
