Victim or assassin - the lines are blurred...

A badly beaten woman walks into A&E and is promptly arrested by the Home Office on suspicion of being an illegal alien. However, she is neither illegal, nor a victim. After she escapes detention, the bodies of her attackers start to pile up.

Commander Carlyle faces a race against time to find out who she really is - and to stop her from killing again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Dull.

Apart from being dull, this thing is way too long, and has pretensions to being amusing. It’s not. Apparently the author has written a lot of these… Why ?

2.0 out of 5 stars Bitty.

Convenient solutions with no work up. Confusing strings of conflicting stories. Side stories which are just annoying and add little to the storyline. Too many people being juggled at the same time. Too much time spent traveling from one location to another. No background colouring. Disappointed

I have read all the Carlyle series and this book maintains the high standards set from the beginning. Looking forward to the next book already.
