Rexx: Alien Adoption Agency #6 Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 724 ratings

It's love at first sight for sunny Abigail. Now she just needs to survive the train ride to get to her new home.

Abigail Shaw can’t believe her good luck. The Alien Adoption Agency has selected her to adopt adorable baby Rio. And baby Rio comes with Rexx, a handsome Invicta warrior guard, whose dark eyes seduce Abigail before he even opens his mouth. When he offers her his mate bond, she thinks things can’t get any better. She’s finally going to have a family of her own. And they’re getting a free ride on the famous Iron Peregrine express train to their new home.

Rexx is a proud dragon warrior of the Invicta, who has spent so many years laser focused on his military career that he’s forgotten how to live in the outside world. But when he meets kind-hearted Abigail, his dragon goes wild. It takes everything he has to restrain himself from claiming her instantly.

Together, they’re ready to take on the frontier moon of Lachesis. But there’s something happening on the cross-moon train they’re taking to get home. They’ve barely boarded the Iron Peregrine when they’re faced with a mysterious locked car, a criminally dangerous passenger, unexplained noises in the night, and a missing person.

And then things get really bad…

Will Abigail and Rexx find a way to make it home safely with baby Rio? And if Rexx does what has to be done, will Abigail still want to be his mate? Or will that train have left the station?

If you like strong women, sexy aliens, wild adventures, steamy sensual scenes, and happily-ever-afters, then you’ll love the world of the Alien Adoption Agency!

I loved this book because of the adventure and the characters and how the mothers got to have sons or daughters I really think that you should have twins or triplets in it because every species has more than just one baby at one time or another I think it would make the story more interesting I give this book the highest ratings because I love these books the only time I can read them is when they're free or on my Kindle that I use I had to wait for several years for these ones to go on for the Kindle so that I could read them and I would check back all the time this author is one of my favorites I really think you should try them cuz they're out of this world

Abigail and Rexx were on the train to get settled with their adopted son Rio. My goodness what a train ride it turned out to be! Lots of surprises. Enjoy

So far this is my favorite in the series. I love Abigail, she is so sweet, and so loving she is perfect mom for baby Rio. Of course she is also found it interesting that she has feelings for Rexx the warrior assigned to watch over and protect the baby. Rexx and baby Rio pick up Abigail as she gets to her new home planet, now they must ride a train to get to their home. Rex is a warrior and a dragon shifter besides an alien, he comes from a humble background and takes great pride in his responsibility but doesn’t feel he is right for Abigail. He mistakes her for an heiress, which she definitely is not. While they struggle to accept their destiny to be together they have to overcome many hurdles they find on their train ride. From missing passenger, a sheriff and his prisoner, and outside influence trying to stop the train for release of the prisoner. I love how the author had so many descriptions of what was going on on the train, and of all the characters and what parts they played in this mystery. Such a good book, lots of anticipation, lots of mystery, some danger, friendships, and a young woman in a big dragon trying to save them all.

After arriving at the new planet it takes a train trip to get home. First night is a welcome aboard party. In the morning they realized a passenger is missing. No one has seen him. With a bond developing between Rexx and the new mom keeping their heads while trying to help save the train and passengers is hard. Loved it hard to put down. Good read.

This another interesting read from Tasha Black. Again, it has action, mystery, and suspense. The only down part is rhe stories are short. Will have to read more of this series.

This was my favorite of the three books on this moon. Although I have to be honest & say that these three are nowhere close to as amazing as the first three books of the entire series set on a different moon.

Abigail is sweet, super smart, beautiful, & an amazing instant mom. She is a great heroine. She saves the day & the lives of many while they are traveling on the train to their new home. I love her quick thinking, her ability to adapt & take charge. She is an amazing woman.

Rexx is reluctant at first & it takes him a bit to figure out things. He's a good man/dragon, an excellent dad & guard to baby Rio & so much more.

This book is full of excitement, intrigue, some danger & a lot of love. I enjoyed the revisit of the other dragons & their mates & babies at the end. I still wish for epilogues for each couple at the end of their respective books.

A good read on it’s own. You should read the whole series. Really need I say more. Goodbye have 😄

This is all very exciting. The characters are smart, quick & charismatic. The story is so much fun & the romance is classic. Fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars The trilogy
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 18, 2023
Although this is book 6 I am writing about the trilogy of Lachesis. A moon that has it all, including rustlers and a over moon train. Agriculture and a holiday resort brilliantly written with Tasha's usual style.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rexx the child minder
Reviewed in Canada on June 22, 2021
Our lovely main character has been picked as the adoptive parent of a lovely infant and leaves her planet to be a parental unit as an is unable to have her own. Rexx is the baby's guardian and immediately realizes Abigail is his dated mate. Then a train misadventure is almost a derailment of the romance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful love story with intrigue

I love all of Tasha Black's books, and this one is certainly no exception. Abigail and Rexx along with baby Rio, embark on a train journey to take them to their new home. A criminal and his arrest marshall are also on board. Things begin to occur during the journey, and all is not what it appears to be. Rexx and Abigail manage to uncover the secrets and ensure that the legitimate travellers and themselves arrive at their destination safely. They befriend two older ladies who offer to babysit Rio whilst the couple are saving them all, and that friendship continues when they discover they are all headed for the same destination, Abigail and Rexx's cottage resort. When Founder's Day arrives, the couple are joined by their friends and mates (from the previous two beautiful stories in this series) and they all end up marrying their respective partners. A lovely happy ending to this wonderful set of stories. 5 stars and definitely recommended.

Tasha Black and in particular this series has become one of my must-get as they come out. I'm on the last one that's come out so far and I haven't been disappointed in any of them.
