I loved this story! It’s so emotionally charged right from the start with the first meeting as innocent kids. I’m a lover of all things castles so this was right up my alley. I would love to try those events! Her experiences with the medieval events were really interesting but of course the unexpected reunion of Aphrodite and Black Panther was the best. I felt like the chemistry and progression of the story was natural and not forced. I couldn’t help but to route for Denzel to win over Sarah and be a family. Denzel’s reactions to the situation and big news just shows how stand up a guy he really proved to be as he matured. I love that the story allowed us to get to know Cam some too.
This is the 2nd book in the series that I’ve read. I’ll definitely check out some of the other ones too.
Rating: PG, clean with no on page sex. It’s implied at the beginning but details were not given. Emotional and physical consequences are discussed for their actions and the long healing process that followed.

The setting at a mid evil castle doing a reality show is so much fun. I love the 9 year old we meet at the end and all of his fun energy.

I enjoyed the story and struggling emotions between Damsel and Sahara. The story was relatively clean and I would recommend it for the young adult reader. Black Panther and.....Aphrodite? Who knew!
There is a tornado of emotions here for Sarah and Denzel....anger, frustration, guilt, passion, loss...watching them work together as they fight through these to forgiveness and hope is heart-warming. This was a completely different challenge to the first four books, it ends up far more of an emotional challenge than a physical one but another great book in the series, which I read on Kindle Unlimited.
