She is August’s widow and a member of the MC’s extended family. He owns his own bike shop and is the MC’s enforcer. He has loved her since he first saw her; however, she was off limits since August claimed her as his. Now, he wants his chance. Will he be successful? Can she fall in love with him? You must read this book to discover their journey. I love Ms. Fox’s skill with dialog. The banter between the lead characters is delightful. Her descriptive scenes afford readers the opportunity to experience their journey firsthand. Nice job, Ms. Fox.

This is my first foray into this author's books. This is the second in the series. The fact that there aren't any spelling or grammar errors alone makes me want to give this 5 stars. With that aside, it was a well written short story that flowed well. The characters had chemistry and the dialogue wasn't cheesy which usually ruins the story for me. I wilo comtinue to read this series, then check out her other stuff. I don't like the main male characters to be manwhores so as long as I don't run into a lot of that, Liz Fox has a new fan.

I loved the first book in this series but this one was just kinda, meh. Nothing special or interesting about it. I doesn't help that I'm not super interested in Motorcycle Club romances but still... maybe I didn't like that Zoey was already married before and was still very obviously grieving over the husband that was killed before her eyes. The story just didn't have anything to it. I didn't even have any highlights from it and if you know my reviews that almost never happens. It was okay but don't feel bad if you want to skip this one in the series. I'm still giving the next book a chance because of how much I loved the first book, His Dangerous Obsession.

This is a quick MC story but unlike any I have read before. Rider owns a bike shop and is the enforcer and has wanted Zoey, but his friend August claimed her first. Fast forward and August has passed away and it has been a year. He wants Zoey now. I love the dialogue and the interaction. They already knew each other but could Zoey move on? This is a just a wonderful MC story and I could not put it down. I loved this book and purchased the rest in the series.

Rider is in an odd predicament, he has feelings for his dead best friend's wife. What was an obligation to make sure that she was ok and taken care of, has turned into something more. Zoey is way to young to already be a widow, but she is and has been for a few years already. She is used to Rider being around and looking out for her, and for Zoey she is also trying not to have feelings for him but can't seem to help herself. When the two finally stop dancing around each other and let themselves have what they want, will it all turn out to be a huge mistake? This was a super short, but cute story, with some amazingly hot naughty bits. I actually would have loved to get more from Rider and Zoey. I give this 4 stars.
