I loved Eve's strength of character, standing up to Brock, pushing his buttons standing up for herself. Great characters and loved the plot surprises, but I was pretty sure I knew what was in that cabinet. Loved the glimpses of a movie set, how it worked, and the honesty about double standard for privileged stars and the Weinstein. Jab. I had no clue about how this book was part of the series, and how they stuck it to Daddy.

I can envision a series featuring the kids, with the parents they have, imagine how they are going to rock the world as adults.

So it was easy for him to assume that Evie did drugs and alcohol... To believe she'd done a stint in rehab. Possibly more than one stint.
And she expected him to star her in one of his movies? She was good, but he was not exposing his movie set to a druggie. Fireworks and explosive tempers were the result of that meeting. And they didn't quiet down anytime soon.
But Evie was nothing like he expected, and fury morphed to passion... A fine read for a cozy afternoon!

Brock and Evie work together and the chemistry is building. When they finally come together, being able to stay together will be a test.

I enjoyed the series, but I felt that each story left a lot that would have made it perfect and this one is no different. Evie started off somewhat, timid with a splash of fire...then through the rest of the story she kept playing timid/ reserved and then fiery tough. I never really got a sense of who she was. Per her story about her mother and Edward , I wonder why Edward was never looking for “his daughter”, not just sons? It was a little off putting. What made Frankie look for a sister in the first place?

I enjoyed the making of the movie in the book so much, I wanted to actually see this fictitious movie for real. . It’s a shame that Edward had no redeeming qualities in the end. He took his bitterness to the grave and beyond.

I enjoyed the series, but wished that there was a little more “meat” to it, to make it awesome.

I loved this book! Elizabeth has written a truly exceptional story. I loved Brock and Evie's characters -- I truly adored Evie's strength and determination. This book centers around trust and communication being essential in a relationship. I loved the ending and how the "Forsaken Sons" triumphed. I am truly sad that this series is at an end as all of the characters were wonderful!

OMG, this book captured my attention before the end of the first page. Evie is an actress that has been written off by Hollywood because they think she’s a drug addict and an alcoholic. Nothing could be further from the truth. I absolutely loved Evie’s sass and snark and how she’s able to stand up for herself. I grew to like Brock eventually but I suspect that was the authors intention, he’s a total ass in the beginning but he eventually sees the light. And finally, I loved the ending of the book and what happens to Edward Myers money. Simply brilliant. I received this book from the author. I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
