Sarah's Return (Sarah Roberts Book Twenty-One)

Sarah Roberts returns after a two-year hiatus as she heads to Dallas, Texas, and an uncertain future. Her sister has instructed Sarah to stop a truck with human cargo, but her plan goes awry, and everything unravels quickly. When people are killed, and she’s ID’d in a kidnapping gone wrong, the FBI steps in, and a manhunt is underway. Sarah still has no idea why she’s in Dallas or what her sister wants her to do. All she knows is that she’s been given a prophetic vision of Aaron’s death in Dallas. Ignoring Sarah’s pleas to stay home, Aaron catches the next flight. When he lands in Dallas, Sarah’s sister abandons her, leaving her without direction and purpose.

In hiding, Sarah begins her own investigation, which backfires horribly. If only her sister would return. If only Aaron hadn’t come to Dallas. If only she knew what the hell she was supposed to be doing. If only they could live to see another day.

Sarah’s Return pits Sarah against a ruthless enemy hiding in the dark, orchestrating a path toward her destruction, and she can’t see any of it coming. Sarah may want to return—to hiding.

After acquiring an agent, he signed several deals in Los Angeles, with MadRiver Pictures optioning his Sarah Roberts Series—over forty books!—(currently in development).

He also hosts a reading retreat in Greece with guest authors, yoga retreats, and hiking retreats.

Jonas is also a professional freelance editor. He works for several publishers and does private editing for clients, with many wonderful testimonials on his website.

Human trafficking, illegal immigrants as unwilling organ donors, corrupt police, murder, and money beyond imagination....and all her sister wants or expects is for Sarah to bring it all down.... But how many of her friends and innocents lives will it cost this time? Is Sarah back to stay or is the price just too high for her to willingly pay again and again? Another of the " best of the series " deserving of many more stars than are available... Superlative!

I'm in awe of this read. I was sad and relieved from reading this. I didn't expect what Jonas brought to light in this part of the series. I'm glad that the team is still intact. Whew! Now I can finally exhale. Ta ta till the next read.

• This novel starts off like a Jason Bourne or Mission Impossible movie: a lone truck driving an unknown cargo across the desert at night. Shadowy figures emerge from the desert floor, and chaos breaks out. A great beginning, which sets the pace for the rest of the book.
• Sarah can’t live in isolation (the quiet life) anymore, not with her dead sister Vivian continuing to hint at death and human suffering that the vigilante Sarah could otherwise stop. It’s enough to send her to Texas, away from family & friends, eventually forcing her to have to choose between a happy, less dramatic life and a life of helping others while risking her own life and limbs.
• Sarah’s accused of a kidnapping gone wrong and ends up being chased by the FBI and killers seeking her silence regarding their horrific business practices. To make matters worse, boyfriend Aaron refuses to heed Sarah’s pleas for him to stay safe & out of the way, given her dead sister’s warning about his pending death should he come to Dallas, TX.
• The multiple plot lines tie together nicely in a great climax at the HQ of the bad guys, making for an unforgettable ending. Truly a great pace was kept up through the majority of this novel.
• My only detraction for the book is that I wanted Sarah to be a little bit more in control of her situation & destiny at the climax of the novel. However, that’s not to say this novel disappointed me, because it did not! It's a great read.

I have read all 21 books in the Sarah Roberts series. In fact it has been a year or two since the last book came out for I read the last 3 books before I read the newest to refresh my memory of that had been happening in Sarah's life. The fact that Vivian, Sarah's dead sister, can communicate with Sarah to prevent death to people is a great concept. Sarah has had a rough life carrying out Vivian's 'orders' however Sarah knows it is the good for all people. In this book Sarah is carrying Vivian's information without knowing the end game and what the purpose is for the things she has to do. Of course Sarah could ignore Vivian's messages but that is not who Sarah is. I will not add the other information in this book so Sarah fans can find out for themselves. The good news is all 4 men from the dojo are back in this novel and helping Sarah out with her newest quest for justice. Benjamin is a hoot because he is always the one getting shot and reminds the guys all the time. Alex is an unbelievable 'acrobat' and his usually quiet self. It will be interesting if Jonas ever decides to share Alex's past with his readers.

SR was another amazing thriller written by jonas Saul as the ongoing tales of Sarah Roberts on her crew keep you in the edge of your seat until the last page and then you realize that your done and the depression of knowing that you have to wait for the next book is a blessing and a curse.... May Jonas exceed his word count every day and his imagination never run Dry. Enjoy this book as much as I did and if your new to the SR series then start being reading to catch up......

This was a bit of a hard read and very emotional took a few days to read hard to think about people harvesting organs from children and healthy adults but I think it happens more often then you think.

How does an writer produce a series where #21 is just as good as #1 ? I found Jonas Saul many years ago by mistake as I read another author with the same last name. Got the first 3 Sarah Roberts books and havn't looked back. What a wonderful mistake. To me this is the best series I have ever read. All the characters are well thoughtout and over 21 books have become friends. If you are looking for a great series look no further. What a ride!!!

All books in this series have been good. Each one gets better. Book 21 had me crying with Sarah and Aaron and getting mad at Vivian because she doesn't seem to helping Sarah very much. Looking forward to the next book, but sad because there aren't many left!

Well worth the read I have enjoyed this series .Seriously Sara needs to become a mother and finish this series. There is so many times this woman can be brutalised and survive. In saying that its still worth the read.
