I'm Solomon Carter, author of the gripping DI Hogarth detective series and the Roberts and Bradley mysteries.

I was born in Southend-on-sea, Essex and I lived there for most of my life. In 2008 I started work at a local foodbank where I was part of a great team helping to feed people in need. Driven by a lifelong hunger to write, in 2015 I turned my hand to writing full-time, and In 2016 I moved to North Cornwall with my family. Cornwall is very beautiful, but I still visit Southend whenever I can because I love the place and I enjoy visiting my old stomping grounds. Southend still remains the focus of most of my stories.

As part of my work, I give away a lot of free books. If you would like to receive some of these along with any of the other exclusives I offer, then you are invited to join my Readers' Group at SolomonCarter dot net. I won't ever spam you - I'll just send you the occasional email with news on the latest books and forthcoming freebies.

Jonathon has been reduced to as low as he can be thanks to a gambling addiction, but believes Dan has a large sum of money his brother, Devon left. But does the money even exist? How far will his debtors go to get the money they believe they're owed? Meanwhile, Dan and Eva investigate the murder of a famous photographer. I have a feeling I'll be reading the exploits of the Roberts and Bradley investigation agency for some time yet!

After Dan providing Jonathan Parker, with a closure to his quest in book 3 Promise To Pay. Then, not to be outdone Miss Roberts was brilliant in respect of Belinda Torrington.

All they want to do is go home to Southend. Take in the air that the Thames Estuary provides.

But soon they are back in London. So what awaits these two private detectives? Would a certain Jack Cantor and his men from Hither Green have a part in this?

If yes. Then, it will be for revenge. What I can confirm is this is another excellent read.
