    Why am I never bored reading this series? I find all of the characters and plots to this series addictive. Each book is enthralling and fast-paced with interesting and diverse story lines. I found this story to be complex because they're dealing with bias and misunderstandings of past lives.

    If you haven't started this series from the beginning, I recommend going back to the beginning because you will become a Lyndsay Sands addict like me. All her genres books are wonderful.

    Immortally Yours by Lynsay Sands is her latest Argeneau Novel. It's Beth and Scotty's story. This novel takes place in the same timeframe as Immortal Unchained. It takes place in Canada with the North American enforcers. It is a standalone novel that doesn't directly advance the series main storyline.
    Beth had one of the most tragic lives of any mortal. The rollercoaster ride of hurt, betrayal, heartache, backstabbing and tragedy that Beth endured as a mortal would have broken most people. A chance meeting with an immortal named Dree and the friendship they shared was the only bright spot in her mortal life. Dree saved Beth's life and finally allowed her to make her own choices for the first time. But even Dree couldn't protect her from the horrible way she would become an immortal.
    Fast forward 100 years, Scotty, the immortal that saved her and Dree's lives 125 years ago has come into her life again. But is he finally ready to tell Beth his her lifemate? Is he finally able to accept Beth's past life, her mortal life and the choices she had made for her or by her? What about his baggage?
    The story of how these two lifemates finally wake up to each other and accept what Fate had known all long will keep you on the edge of your seat. You'll run the gambit of emotions and flip back and forth on how you feel about the characters. The heartache and tragedy is overwhelming. The ability to overcome, succeed and thrive will give you something to aspire to. I must say this novel is deeper, darker and more heartfelt than the rest of the series. The dry humor that makes me laugh out loud while reading this series isn't there but the thoughtfulness, heartache, and triumph are amazing. I can't wait to see what's next.

    I love this series for some reason. I don't mean they aren't good books or not well written because they are. I guess I just mean these books are like a guilty pleasure for me. They are fast moving, fun, easy to read vampire love story's. They are not what I'd call literary fiction exactly lol. But they are my very favorite of all the vampire love stories. I like the way Me Sands writes. She has a way offering a story flowing that it's hard to stop until the end. Now this story I only have four stars because it wasn't o elf her best ones. Not that it wasn't good it was but I like it when she ads in a little more humor to the story. It's one thing I love about these books is that most of them also make me laugh a lot. I will be looking forward to the next book in this series.

    This story takes place in Canada. It has several characters we met in earlier books. The main characters were first introduced in the story of Dree and Hartley. Now we learn more about Beth, Dree's friend who was turned by a rogue immortal. We also learn about Scotty McDonald who rescued Dree and Beth. Thanks to problems in Scotty's childhood, he is reluctant to claim Beth as his life mate. Add someone out to murder Beth and you get an exciting tale.

Not sure why. We get to see some frazzled Mortimer, which made me want to do a re-read of his & Sam's story. And there's quite a bit of Donny - remember, from Leigh & Lucian's story? Yeah, that one. He was quite fun at the comic relief! ; )
