About the authors
Cindy Caldwell writes heartwarming, feel-good stories that combine what she loves most about women's fiction and romance--the bonds of friendship and family, and all the love and messiness that comes with. She's lived at the beach, in the mountains and in the desert, and loves it all.
Cindy Nichols, a USA Today Bestselling author, weaves heartwarming women's fiction and romance, set against the tranquil backdrops of beaches, mountains, and Western ranches. Her stories celebrate the strength of community and familial bonds, reflecting her life experiences as a daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Inspired by the beauty of her western surroundings and a lifetime passion for reading, Cindy's novels, like her settings in historic Tombstone and an Idaho ranch, are testaments to the importance of support and kinship.
A mother, grandmother, and rescue cat owner, Cindy's writing mirrors life's complexities and the power of connections. Her work is an uplifting journey, emphasizing the value of relationships and the beauty in every sunrise and sunset.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2016Thoroughly enjoyed Carol, the newest Brides of Archer Ranch. Like the characters of Carol and Will. So sweet! Also enjoy being able to catch up on what is happening to the other characters of Tombstone from the previous books. Hope to read more by this author. Hoping this is not the last in this series. Lots more matches to be made!! Do wish edits could be a little more thorough, but I am finding grammatical mistakes in most of the ebooks that I read. Maybe I am too picky or the English teacher in me is coming out! Not distracting enough to make me stop reading, just correct in my head as I go along.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2024What an amazing storyline! I really enjoyed the characters, the storyline and the message this one imparted. You can do pretty much anything everyone else can do, just maybe a little differently. Will saw Carol as the beautiful woman she is on the inside and outside, not crippled and a bother. Love can happen no matter the obstacles.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2016This story can read as a standalone but does pick up from book five, the story of Saffron Archer and Adam Benson. Carol Benson has been crippled from a train accident that took the lives of her parents years ago when they were on their way to Chicago to meet a man, Dennis that she had been corresponding with for possible marriage. After the accident and recovery of Carol, the Benson family moved to Tombstone, Arizona for a new life. Adam and Saffron are now married, and they all live in the Benson household. Carol is just a bubbly person with a constant smile and loves the people of Tombstone. Saffron’s sister is working to open a public library and wants Carol to work with her. Will Stanton has seen the pretty girl Carol and his mind comes up with inventions to try and help and wants to help her be able to get around. Will is drawn to the sweet girl, and they develop of friendship.
The plot deals with what being crippled would be like in the 1800s and how a chair with wheels could help but not always work practically. I love the mindset of Will and how he can come up with latches, better ways of doing things, and trying to make life better for those around him. His mother and Aunt are both bitter and nasty women and ones to be avoided. As Will and Carol start developing feelings for each other, both are confused how the other might feel. Carol will never be able to walk again, so should she never marry? Will believes he knows absolutely nothing about courting and even less about women, and dealing with his mother’s attitude doesn’t help. Can Will and Carol share their feelings with each other and find happiness? Revisiting so many people from previous stories is wonderful.

She want to volunteer at the library but the widower do not like it because Carol does not walk. Carol's heart is being win by Will. Can she and Will find happiness? Great storu
- Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2016I loved this book and it's story which were very touching. I did not like the fact that no one proofed it. All throughout this book I had to stop and make sense of the sentence I was reading because of typos, words left out or duplicate words. I really hate that. It ruins the flow of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Story
Loved the continued story line. A good clean pioneer type novel that reminded me of the TV show like Dr. Quinn and Little House on the Prairie days.

4.0 out of 5 stars Carol Bride of Archer Ranch
Cindy I enjoyed your story of Carol and you found the ideal hero for her. I sorry her new chair didn't come into the story sooner though. Life for people in wheel chairs must have been very difficult in those days.
