This book was a wonderful and thoroughly entertaining final book in the Samara Royal Family Series. The characters were well written with believable, if sometimes frustrating, thoughts and emotions. I loved Janus, but then I'm a sucker for animal characters. My only complaint is that we never learn HOW Angela tucked Laithir into marriage. Other than that, this book was thoroughly entertaining and worth the wait. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys easy-to-read HEA love stories.

It was good. Hero has been hurt before by a disastrous marriage. It was bad. He vows never to marry again until he meets the heroine. He is cautious with repeating same mistakes so he works to keep himself detached as much as he can, but he really can't help himself. The sexual scenes were very steamy and well written.

Main conflict: Heroine is smart woman but unfortunately has many insecurities that two vicious women play on to make her life hell with the hero. Hero was hurt before and cautious to let it happen again. The resolution was smooth but I wanted more.

That is the reason I gave it a 4. Upset with hero exposed heroine to his former in laws when he didn't even like them and even stated he suspected they were causing her distress but didn't look into it sooner. I just don't get why he would expose her to them? Would have liked to read his POV on that, felt left that reason hanging. Other than that enjoyed book.

The read was light read. Safe read. Hero is heroine's first. Hero was adorable and perfect for the heroine. Humor present in the book. Cute couple. No OW or OM. Nice epilogue. I enjoyed the read.

I like this book quite a bit. This book is definitely worth reading, all the mistreatment that Shantra goes through makes the end worth it. Though it's I definitely not my favorite in The Samara Royal Family series ( Mia and Ramzi's story is my favorite), no doubt I like this story as well. I would recommend reading the entire series. My second favorite in this series is Ciala and Jurar's story book four.

It is based fully on insecurity and trust. Trust in which the H had to find it again in himself after what his first wife did to him and his country. On the other side all the insecurity the h felt especially if you have three older ruling brother, you tend to hide something from them,and then again when you married yourself in a family where the mother & sister-in-law are always reminding you of your husband first love of your life ex wife. there were times that i really wanted to reach out and shake the h to wake up, The love scene wasn't elaborated much. the 4& 5 book of Ms Lennox is good .
