4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 950 ratings

She’d felt his eyes caress her….and she should have run the other way!

Andi couldn’t believe how hard she’d fallen for Antonio Alfieri. But from the moment they saw each other, there was an undeniable connection. And the more she gets to know him, the harder she falls.

But Antonio had learned through painful lessons that love wasn’t for him. So why was Andi’s declaration of love for him so…profound? Why did he ache to pull her into his arms and make love to her all over again?

Determined to never be vulnerable again, he pushes her away.

Her departure leaves him empty and angry. Confused. Until the day she shows up at his office looking beautiful and glorious. And pregnant.

This time around, he’s more determined not to lose her. He doesn’t know what he feels, but he knows that he can’t live without her.

This is the 7th book in the series and it was very good. This is Antonio’s story, he met Andie in Milan at a fashion show, both were very attracted to each other. He asked her to spin the weekend with him, Andie told him she loved him and he rejected her love. She leaves and later discovers she is pregnant, she had to go to him for help. They had to overcome some obstacles to find their HEA. Great epilogue.

A captivating book. I think Antonio and Adriana stories were the best from this series. I loved that the family played a part in each book. Antonio's story was different from the others. He was afraid of love while the other brothers embraced love as a result of what they saw growing up with loving parents. This series was different as readers saw the story of the parents then met each kid growing up then their individual stories. Another must read by Elizabeth Lennox. I totally enjoyed the entire series. Congrats to the writer on a well developed set of books.

I love this series. Three is so much love and family packed into these books. And laughter! So much laughter. I love the epilogues where the brothers play wedding pranks on each other. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance books. I highly recommend that you read the series in order to get the best experience possible.

We are taken on a wonderful journey of finding that love is there if we just open our eyes. I love how Andie was no pushover when she stood up to Antonio. I loved how she stood up to Melissa letting her know that she was not getting Antonio back. It took a while for Antonio to realize that he loved Andie and that what he felt for Melissa was not love ,but anger at leaving him for someone with money.
I highly recommend this book. The story was a sweet and emotional journey.

I really enjoyed this book. I noticed after I read it, that it had mixed reviews. It was a light read, that left me smiling. Antonio knew Andie was special the first time they met. It took him a bit longer to realize he loved her. Antonio was all alpha male, but Andie had no problem standing up to him. I also loved the way she handled his mean, nasty ex lovers. The journey to love, and happy ever after was slow and sweet. There are days you just need a sweet, light read, and this book was perfect.

I found this heroine disappointing, and the love story was the typical I'm pregnant and now I have no choice but to go back to the baby's daddy. All of it, is what you would expect, beginning with her pregnancy and his "now we have to get married" attitude and from there, everything was very predictable and their story boring for me. I even skipped the whole ice cream sex scene because I was not feeling it. I just never cared for them . I thought that the heroine was weak. She was basically willing to marry the guy for the sake of the baby, I guess, even though she herself kept telling him how he didn't have to marry her, not in today's world for the baby's sake. It seemed very hypocritical how she then turned around and talked herself into going through with it, "oh well, I guess I am going to marry him, even though he does not love me and is only marrying me for the baby ." It seemed very distasteful to me. That's not true love in my eyes. It seemed like she took advantage of that he took his responsibilities very seriously by accepting his proposal, although even then, she never really accepts, and he never really asks her. I guess I like my heroine to have more backbone, more integrity. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. In fact, the guy does not even tell her he loves her til the very end ! When they are at the alter getting married which is the last chapter.......in addition to this I found the parts which had the other brothers and their wives and children very annoying. I basically skimmed past these parts. I wished there had been more emotional depth between these main characters so I could believe that they really loved each other. As it is, their idea of love is much different than mine. I wish she had stood for more, and had turned down the proposal in favor of his love over the money. Overall , I was disappointed by this one.

This is actually the first book I've read in the Alfieri series. I really liked this one. It was a good romance novel. Not too intense or dark, sometimes you just need a breather from those kind of stories. Andie is very innocent and naive and she gets swept away by Antonio, who is very experienced. I felt in the beginning he was just wooing her to get her into his bed. The sex scenes are not very descriptive but you get the idea. Unfortunately, Antonio had to lose something (Andie) good to realize what he had. When he got a second chance, he held on and moved fast to get his woman. I may go back and read some of the other stories for the series, it depends on if I want to read just a good romance (this series) at the time or something more dark and possessive.

This is a great book. I really like that it is a stand alone book. The story is easy read. I like that there is not a lot of foul language. There is sex scenes but not graphic. I really like reading Elizabeth Lennox books.

This was a great ending to a wonderful series. Andie and Antonio are wonderful Characters. The storyline is well written. The only reason I have given this a four instead of a five is because I feel Shannon could have caused a little more trouble and when Andie was at home lonely where was the Alfieri clan? But these are very picky points and the book is well worth the read. Highly recommended

A thoroughly enjoyable read. Gentleness, but also soul searching on the character's. A delightful novel that can be read again and again.
