Oh.My.Swearword! Just finished Weregirl and it was EPIC! Can't wait for the next book in this series. I love the way Charlotte has developed over the past seven years. She has so much depth, you almost feel like you know her. All the intrigue and political manipulations of court heighten the suspense. And of course, the threat of the outsiders! Excellent!!! A must read!
We were first introduced to Charlotte in Patti Larsen's Family Magic series. She was Syd Hayle's bodywere (bodyguard). She was faithful, powerful and fascinating. But, of course, those were Syd's stories so Charlotte was a secondary character. In the first book of this wonderful new series, Ms. Larsen fleshes out Charlotte's character more fully and lets in on her secret. The love of her life is not another werewolf but a human. Spoiler alert! It's Syd's former martial arts instructor, Sage America. And that's only the tip of the iceberg! You'll have to read the series to learn the rest! I promise it's worth it.
