Not bad but not great. Got it for free so it was a nice read. Would recommend it but not for anything over $2.00. Will read more of author's books.

This is a well-composed, enjoyable, suspenseful tale with a surprise ending. It is free for kindle users.

A successful stock and bond broker has a three-month required vacation between jobs and decides to use the time to enjoy sex to the maximum. He starts by paying for sex, but gets tired of it after a month. He finds that he can get free sex off of Craig's List and enjoys it until he again tires of it after a month. Then he sees an ad on the internet. A man is looking for a group of men to have prolonged sex with his wife, group-sex for hours. He finds that the man is legitimate and agrees. He has the greatest sex ever and looks forward to seeing the couple again so that the can do so again. All of the participants in the orgy were required to wear mask, so he can't find them. Then he sees them again and discovers startling facts that changes his life forever.

I never thought the day would come for me to say that an erotica story was boring... but today is the day.
The whole book seems a big cliché to me. It's full of sayings and idiomatic expressions and depicts a very stereotyped Thailand. I've been there and it is NOT a big raging brothel as Mr Leather seems to believe.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I wish I had believed some of the reviews I read before downloading it. Although I didn't pay for this, there are some thing that money really cannot buy and TIME is one of them.

Couldn't get into it. Put reader down and came back to it the next day to give it 2nd chance a day later. It didn't work. Not so sure if it was the style of writting or the storyline. M

Written in the first person point of view, a man works for bond companies in Southeast Asia. He becomes bored with his life of sex for money and free sex. He looks for something different. He finds it on the internet when a man advertises for men to have sex with his wife. He is captivated by the wife then learns her story. This book was different than what I expected. It is well written, tightly crafted. Good first person development. While he's not someone I'd like to know, you get an excellent picture of who he is and what makes him tick. Interesting ending.

First of all let me say that I am a huge fan of Stephen Leathers previous work from the intial stand alone books to the Spider Shepherd series and the Jack Nightingale stories.
It was with trepidation that I started reading this short story as I thought it may have swayed away from his normal genre too far.
However, I was more than presently surprised as this story is up there with Bangkok Bob and is touching on the sublime Private Dancer, all set in the more adventurous parts of Thailand.
It is well written and has a theme of humour running all the way through the piece.
I would highly recommend this story.

3.0 out of 5 stars Question: When is a twist not a twist?
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 2, 2014
Answer: When you see it coming from about 10% in.

I am a big fan of SL work so this was a bit of a let down. To be fair the story was ok. Well written, kept me clicking. What disappointed me most was the 'twist'. And be warned the next paragraph contains the 'spoiler'- well maybe not as, if like me you'll probably work it out well before the conclusion.

Bills 'wife' is a transsexual and what really ticks me off is that in this day and age such people are still being used to 'shock' in a context such as this. I was just left thinking she used to be a guy, so what?

4.0 out of 5 stars A good free read

Ok it's free....and perhaps erotic....?....so why not download it, especially if you've enjoyed other books by this author.
Yes I enjoyed it....a good short story. Having visited Thailand a few times I could relate to the sex for sale life style there (not personally of course....I was with my wife!).......but the underlying theme is always there and, yes, I've been to a Ladyboys show....,
.....so this is, as one would expect, an erotic short story....not pornographic....and entertaining....bouncing between the seedy life of Bangkok and the wealth of Singapore...
.....I'm usually pretty good at endings but missed this one....made me want to return to The Far East....a well written yarn...
